The sun-kissed capital of San'Thraka seemed to not be so bright, in spite of the blaring rays of the sun far above. Suddenly the sounds of a violin being played by untrained hands echo throughout. If one got closer they would see the source of the noise, the goblin by the name of Onk. Before Onk stood the rest of the goblins, around a terribly dug grave. Pyzi began to speak. "Bruddahz, diz iz ay nubhozh dai. Wi hab luzt da see munkeez dat mi traydid zhiniez fur." "Zpyritz wutch obah dem." As Pyzi finishes her short speech an olog by the name of Guhrub, releases the mud in his arms and covers the grave. "Wulmurt nub gib mi ryfund, mi fynd znaga inzted." OOC We are looking for someone who'd like to become a slave of a bunch of goblins! Want to learn orcish culture, blah and other fun stuff without being an orc? No problem, be the skull brothers slave, today!

Ah you triggered my PTSD! I was a klutz, dropped my watch into one and ... Well, subconsciously grabbed at it ... Yeah.
-
Standing at the entrance of the Orcish mines, you hear the echoes of those inside. "Wurk wurk zug zug dabu, wurk wurk zug zug dabu dabu."
-
My question is; do you want to make a goblin? I also wish you the best in your life!
-
Chantings of a group of goblins echo throughout the region. "Rex Rex Rex Rex Rex Rex!"

A sharp, cold breeze rolls through the desolate ruins of a city that’s name and history had long been forgotten by time itself, completely barren of any signs that the city was even lived in by the previous inhabitants of the land, and has since been taken over by the creatures that lurk in the darkness of night. The only signs of light the city has felt for a long time had been the moon far above in the sky, until one particularly quiet night the flickering of fire caused misshapen shadows to dance upon the walls in wicked and distorted fashions; and for the first time in years the sounds of conversation began to echo throughout the area. The distinct sounds of harsh guttural voices seemed to keep the new inhabitants of the ruins from prying, giving the intruders of the land no inclination of being watched and because of such the voices only grew louder, the excitement was clear as the shadows flickered more around the campsite and showed jittering movement of the goblins which stood there. “Tudai iz da dai wi am hozh. Nub, tudai iz da dai wi am bubhozh. Wi du diz nub juz wizelf bud … Fur da Rex agh da Uzg agh da Zpyritz! Hunur fur da Rex! Votar fur da Uzg! Trybut fur da Zpyritz!” The once desolate ruins suddenly burst alive, the loud echoes of the band of goblins chanting flood the city and within a moment, the flickering of their shadows begin to brighten as the campfire spreads throughout the ruins, and the already once destroyed landmass becomes set alit in a fury of flames.

Why not tinker recipe? It's a very fine piece to make. Also, as for roleplay, your character can be caught producing them and put under arrest.
-
I only just realized I can have two personas at once, but cannot decide what my second persona should be. Help? http://strawpoll.me/7179075

Rai'wyn Terin adjusts her robes as she looks over the notice. "Literally just finished a conversation with him. Huh."

Your View: Making A Successful Storyline
Adasinio replied to Wretched's topic in News & Announcements Archive
An antagonist that feels natural would be cool. Then again, I've yet to see the story-line that's currently unfolding ... That is if there is one, I was told there is. -
I have a genuine question that I would appreciate if someone could give an answer to, I will be asking from personal experience though I'm not still angry over it and am just using it as an example. Having your entirety of your storage stolen where the chests have no locks but the door does (which happens in real life, who of us actually locks our hay / food items inside the house), what roleplay does this give to the victim to return home to a storage that was once full to a storage that is now completely empty?
-
I am not entirely sure if this is on topic but it sort of relates to lockpicking, in a thieving sort of manner. Could we potentially put a limit on how much you are allowed to steal from chests without locks? I understand that if it is unlocked in roleplay you should logically be allowed to return for more, but sometimes there are limits and exceptions, even ridiculous events. For example, I had roughly ten double chests full of haybales stolen due to me not being a donator and having the chests locked, I understand the argument against this would be to get someone to lock the chests but wouldn't it be easier to allow the people who either don't have spare money to spend on VIP or don't have a friend with VIP would be to simply put a limit to the amount allowed to steal?

Your View: Roleplay Engine, Review Poll

I absolutely love this, but Telanir you lied to me and that is upsetting! Where is the Wikipedia page you promised? I had not a single clue of ALL those channels and any of the commands! Give us the page please~ Unless it's already there, then link us please. -
Now that I can finally post here, thank you PrinceDegeneracy, I would like to say something that may be seen as an unpopular opinion but I need to say it! I absolutely love this new chat, at first I was very confused and struggled with everything, though after fiddling with the settings as well as taking fifteen minutes to test everything out I found it to be very responsive and a well fit. The only thing I have against it is the LOOC cooldown is probably too long, maybe put a five second cooldown instead of fifteen. Also, separate thread or Wikipedia page for all the features please, detailing how to use them and what they do would be amazing. I keep having to go back to the video and it's irritating to constantly click back, when I mishear something. Amazing job Telanir, keep up the great job Staff!

Declaration of Tribute: Willow Hollow
Adasinio replied to Shalashask's topic in Vailor Roleplay Archive
Rai'wyn would run the back of her hand over a sweat laced forehead, a bag slung over her shoulder and filled with hay stalks. Trudging through the farmland, she'd end up under an umbrella to shade herself from the beating rays of the sun above and luckily for her there was fresh water nearby, taking a sip her eye would notice a nearby crumpled poster. Picking it up, it would soon be read over and a puzzled expression washes over her face. "The halflings must deliver nine barrels of wheat ..." she'd read once more, this time aloud. "Do they have their own farm?" -
"A perfect day, made better." + + + Rai'wyn awoke to the sound of the wind rolling through the canopy of Laure'lin, a wonderfully sweet sound that ingrained the wonderful feeling that engulfed her being that was living within such a beautiful city with such wonderful people. The morning started her off with such excitement, quickly putting on her daily attire and rushing out the door, Rai'wyn began to seek the man known as Artimec Camoryn. While on her way, Rai'wyn bumped into an friend named Rosewynn, a lovely young elven woman with a beautiful smile that would brighten up anyone'ss day. The two conversed for some time, before it started to rain and Rosewynn departed, though as Rai'wynn was close to depart a strange man showed himself to her. A man claiming to be a knight and paladin of Xan. Ibar was his name, the two spoke and the pair were quite happy to be in each others presence. Though as Artimec Camoryn made his presence known, Rai'wyn quickly announced her wishes to begin the path of a druidess to him and shortly after, was inducted and given a task to fulfill. The entire day was filled with excitement, after enjoyment and even very admiring moments from differing nations. "What could make things better?" As quickly as she thought this, was the information rushed to her and a tear welled up in her eye. Despite not understanding the deep meaning of this, she knew quite clearly that this was through the hard work of those she quickly respected. The Prince she looked at as a charming and lovely man, has become The King. Lord Artimec, the man she was being tought by and someone she heavily respected, has become The Prince. Mister Calius, the man who went to the ends and back, simply to assist her in everything she needed, has become The Lord. "Laure'lin, my home forever and always."

Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Rai'wyn Character’s sex: Female Character’s race: Elf Character’s age: 127 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Rai'wyn was born in a small village that harbored many fugitives and exiled from various nations, though mostly populated by self-anointed impure high elven outcasts from Haelun'or. While she saw nothing wrong with those that wandered the village, she knew that they weren't the best people to get to know though through the years she tended to befriend them easily and have the occasional fling with them, though mostly due to growing up and experiencing new things. Her parents, both elven descent though mixed with the subraces, loved her with all their heart and even through their employment, would take time to spend with her. Her father was a heavily built smith, who believed in loyalty within family and her mother was a dainty barmaid who believed that everyone had a bright spot within them. While Rai'wyn was an adult, she tended to follow her mother into the bar and assist with the collecting and serving of various drinks, even meals and was eventually given a job there as a barmaid. During such time her village was unintentionally thrown into the middle of a large conflict between the armed men of the Orenian Empire and the armed men of the group known as Dunamis, while the conflicted seemed to last for ever it was over as quickly as it started and the devastation of the conflict was substantial. Angered and frustrated at this, Rai'wyn made a decision in the heat of the moment and decided to leave the village and find her own place. Her parents, upset by this, were quite accepting and assisted by giving her clothes, rations and a tent to accommodate her on the travel ahead. Rai'wyn managed to make her way to the Cloud Temple Docks, standing there in awe she looked over all the docked ships and the hustling of the locals rushing to be places. While she was astounded by the crowded dock, she assured herself that it was the right choice and began to look towards the future. Personality Traits: She is very loyal, honest and sees the best in everyone. Ambitions: She has a three tiered goal in mind. Find a village to call home, work withing the village as a barmaid and eventually run her own village. Strengths/Talents: She is mentally strong, as well as having a large amount of stamina and endurance. Weaknesses/Inabilities: She is physically weak and too trusting, easily taken advantage of. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Standing at five foot seven inches and weighs at one hundred & eighteen pounds. With a softly tanned skin, icey blue eyes and darkened auburn hair. She has an hourglass figure, with a size-able chest and a round rear. Her clothes are majorly made up of material found in her old village, old grey and saddle browns mostly used, the regular visage of a barmaid. Appearance, please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin (If you need help, see our screenshot guidehere):
