If your hair is so bad that you need to start wearing wigs, then you should have gone bald

wigs are good when roleplayed with nuance of the actual disgusting appearance that can happen with nobility and the stigma that's attached to it. instead its used as weird out of place fashion statements instead of the attempt to hide the mass excess and hubris of the upper class who are diseased, balding and aim to keep their vanity....

  2. This entire OOC Anti-Oren obsession that has existed since Alty became Emperor in late 2019 is turning this server in a completely toxic place. How many times any of you have witnessed Anti-Oren messages in OOC channels within the server? Because it has been constant during all this time. What has the Admin Team done to address this issue? Nothing, and now we see the consequences of this negligence: more toxicity and more OOC, which is a very bad impression for a new player (see JoshBright's post).

Also, and I hope that what happened recently made us all learn this, which is that I think that it has been completely proven that forcing your character to act in a certain manner for the mere fact that it benefits you more oocly (e.g.: to assume the leadership of a nation) is something that is completely bad for the community as it just generates more OOC and toxicity.

  3. Sir Charles gave his chad magic to Milenfan "There you go, fam."
  4. "Who are you?" Sir Charles Galbraith remarked, unfamiliar with Aristide. "I suppose that he must be a savoyard, because I have never seen him in Oren before."
  5. "May GOD bless the Imperial Archchancellor and the High Pontiff Everard VI, the true Pontiff of the Church." Sir Charles Galbraith remarked
  6. hello frill long time no see
  7. "When I was told about the treachery of Everard VI I could not believe it. To think that a man who two saints days ago coronated His Imperial Majesty and his consort now conspired to forge an unholy alliance against the Holy Orenian Empire? Truly a shame...Anyway, long live His Holiness Michael I!" Sir Charles Galbraith remarked, still clearly confused of the situation that he just witnessed in Savoy.
  8. Better, although these days I intend to only play lotc casually, in order to not deteroriate all the rest of braincells that I have left.
  9. "That was the Ninth Empire, not the Eight Empire." said an imperial historian "Although I am going to admit that at this point counting empires sounds quite irrellevant anyway."

yeah but what do you do in that situation, plan a coup like the playerbase just did yesterday? Like, I do not think that the playerbase can be blamed for this. If anything, those to blame would be the Orenian leaders who gave him the character and who allowed him to continue doing all this sh*t during all this time

That is a question for those who gave him that character, not for the playerbase of Oren who do not decide such things

I get the critique but you also need to realize that is very easy to say because he was literally the heir to Oren and eventually the Emperor and, as such, he was a very relevant character in the roleplay.

I appreciate the response from the Administration Team and your honesty, but I also want to express my honesty If you all do not mind: When I read this sentence my mind just blew away. The fact that the Administration knew of all this and did nothing and that you all did not keep yourselves accountable for this negligence is simply beyond my comprehension. You are all of you (the Staff), of course, volunteers, and most of you do your best for our community and our server, but don't you think that if there was really such a negligence in a situation you guys should keep yourselves accountable and, if necessary, resign from your current positions and let others assume such responsibilities?
  14. The retired statesman Sir Charles Galbraith frowned and widened his eyes in shock within his comfortable chambers in the Barony of Rivia once he heard of the news "The return of the Duke and Duchess of Furnestock is truly a miracle! May GOD bless Their Imperial Highnesses and the rest of the Imperial Household in these changing times." Afterwards, the man packed his belongings and proceeded to travel to the Imperial Capital to witness the arrival of the two royals and to attend the upcoming session of the Imperial Court in the Augustine Palace "His Imperial Majesty the Emperor Philip II surely must be very happy of such news. After all, they are family, which is something that we do not have the chance to choose and something that we can only live with. May GOD save the Emperor and the Holy Orenian Empire." he murmured during the trip.
  15. RESPONSE FROM THE IMPERIAL TREASURY An orenian bureaucrat of the Imperial Treasury handed a copy of this petition to the Secretary of State for the Treasury of the Holy Orenian Empire, His Excellency Sir Henry Penton. @CharmingCavalier In addition, the imperial functionary started working on the response, and intially sent the following letter: "Dear Sir or Madam, @Borin Your request (#4533) has been received by the Imperial Treasury of the Holy Orenian Empire and it shall be processed within the following saints days. Furthermore, we would like to remind you that in the scenario that the subsequent administrative resolution is a dismissal one you may then file an appeal directly before the same body that issued such resolution, or directly before the Imperial Courts in accordance with the imperial laws. Also, we would like to remind you of your right to present allegations and, if necessary, evidence, during this administrative procedure. Finally, may there be no administrative resolution your request shall then be understood as dismissed by negative administrative silence. Sincerely, Functionary IT-3764"
  16. Sir Charles Galbraith blinked, having filed no motion in the so-called adrian duma "Does the author of the record of this duma consume hallucinogens?" he'd wonder to himself before throwing it into the fire and resuming his duties in Providence.
  17. Sir Charles Galbraith would be drinking a glass of helenan wine with Lord Joseph d'Azor in The Novellen when he heard of the public letter of the Rustlers. "So these brainless bandits are now calling the Chieftain of the Nordlings a coward? This comedy club called Norland is definitely very funny." The former Solicitor-General would cackle and continue making jokes with the former Chief of the War Office regarding the Nordlings until dawn. @Taketheshot
  18. "Death to the unholy and death to the traitors!" Sir Charles Galbraith would exclaim as he heard of those who seek to rebel against the Canonist Sutican Crown
  19. The Solicitor-General would shrug as he heard of the tragic death of his friend: "Most of my friends have all died. Perhaps this is a divine sign that indicates me that I should also join them in the Seven Skies soon. I do not know. All I know is that Joseph Warrick was one of the best Deputy Attorney Generals that have ever existed and that me and his comrades in the Imperial Constabulary will miss him very much. Rest in peace, my friend."
  20. Looking forward to see you back on the Craft bro

  21. In the Imperial City of Providence, Sir Charles Galbraith would shrug as he heard of the death of Legolas Neldor and would mutter the following: "I am sorry I could not save you, my friend. You were a very good Agent who did a lot of work. Thank you for your service and dedication to the Ministry of Justice and the Holy Orenian Empire." @ss3y_
  22. The Solicitor-General would immediately blink twice and suddenly love the Church and its High Pontiff aftering hearing of this decision "God exists. Now I clearly realize it."
