How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? : My friend told me about a really good role play server and I though it would be good to play on.

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is simply simulating a role of something or someone trying to play and behave like that person / thing would

What is metagaming?: For example your playing a game and someone's a drug dealer you don't know that the person is a drug dealer though it says it above their head, you call the cops and get the person arrested, they ask what was your reason and you reply with "It says it above their head." That is metagaming. In this it would be more like knowing someone's name before asking for it though it says above their head.

What is powergaming?: People who powergame are people who try to do / use something that it makes it impossible to compete with, thus making the roleplay unfair. Powergaming is forcing actions upon another person. For example you could not kill someone in real life, take their money and walkaway within seconds. e.g. In Lord of the craft you could not walk up to someone type /me cuts you in half and takes your belongings and then walks away. IRL you could not cut instantly in half within seconds. If the person in the roleplay had a weapon they could try parrying or of they were wearing armour a sword wouldn't cut it in half.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): I was born in Anthos, near the town of Westport, we did all our lumber trading their before the wars started and it became to dangerous,  my family home was built by my father and uncle. My house on a mountain surrounded by forest. My Mother, Linithir, died giving birth to me so my father had always treated me as second best saying I was the cause of my mother's death. My Brother Andreth was the favoured one, getting all the chances, the biggest room, better presents. He was two years older than me. My Dad Volkvir didn't like me because of what happened to my mother but he didn't hate me so much that he would abandon me somewhere in the forest, of which he could easily of done.

 

Our house evolved into a small village as more people moved to our location, My brother and my dad did most of the building as my uncle had moved to Kingston. I was about 17 when my brother had found a young elven girl starving in the forest we took her in and raised her as our own. My brother had married a woman named Irilith and they had been happily married for a year now. Andreth treated the young girl as his own and named her Anrina Valornis. The war between the humans and the dwarfs was becoming a problem and we couldn't risk travelling the roads in Salvus. We mainly hunted in the nearby forests for food and selling the pelts. My brother did all the hunting but I was more of a lumberjack selling the lumber in Westport.

 

My father moved to Kingston to live with my Uncle and now they owned a tavern, I never heard from him again. The rest of us moved to The Fringe when the great floods happened and then to Thales, but when the great winter happened in Thales we moved to Athera to seek a new life. After a few years of living their I lived out in the woods near Petrus, Andreth went to Angern to help his friends in the Renatus rebellion movement. I looked after Anrina as an uncle, Andreth was treated to be more like a father to her as our father hated her. I came home one day to find her out the house and a note lying on the table. It read that she had gone to Angern to look for Andreth and would not return if she didn't find him. I thought she would be fine, she could look after herself. Andreth sent me a letter a few months after saying he had been fighting the Evil Carrions in a war. He told me about the evil rule they had and that they were close to ruining their reign. Months after that I got another letter saying I should come join the kingdom and serve under the Storm King with him, I decided it was time to pack up and move to Angern to help my brother and to help Athera.

 

Personality Traits: Caring, Intelligent, Determined, Hard Working  

Ambitions: To help my brother (Who is a character in lotc) and help his rebellion movement. 

Strengths/Talents: Hard working, Good with an axe - due to early life as a lumberjack.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Scared of drowning(Can't swim) - After what happened in Anthos Alfred has been scared of water and never wants to learn to swim in it he saw many people drown in the flood the idea of swimming scares him, not very good with bows never hunted as a child, Hates the cold - after what happened in Thales.

• Where was he born exactly? Stating "[He] was born in his family home." Doesn't provide much detail.
• What was the disease that killed off his uncle?

• I was about 17 when my brother had found a young elven girl starving in the forest we took her in and raised her as our own. When I was about 21, one evening, something happened. My brother had married a woman named Irilith and they had been happily married for a year now. Andreth had caught his wife performing a necrotic ritual on the young elven child and banished her from the village. Ever since the young elf began to do magical things, making small objects float, and opening doors with her mind but she said she couldn't control these things happening. One night when we all slept the most traumatic thing happened to us all. A small undead army had risen outside the village killing everything in its path. The village was destroyed and Me, My father, Andreth and the young elf all survived the rest didn't. My father thought it was the young elf's magical ability to raise the dead though the rest of us disagreed with him. 

     You need to elaborate on who this young elven girl is. There are also no Necromancers by the name of Irilith. While this may not seem to be that big of a deal, Necromancy is a locked magic on the server and must be taught by another. Even then, those in a discreet coven are for the most part those possessing the magic. If she is as you said not able to control her magic, that is also against server lore. Magic must be taught or self-taught. Nobody is born with magical ability. It's unlikely that this girl managed to raise an army of the dead (if that's what you implied) without knowing it.

• What city did his father move into? A small note as well it's spelt Renatus, not Renaultus.
• The reference to Renatus and Carrions seems to be the only server lore you've included as well, apart from Necromancy and the realm Athera. I'd like to see city names as asked before.
• Everyone moved to Athera when the time came. The minor realm before that, Thales, was suffering a sort of Ice-age. It'd be unheard of for one to stay behind willingly.
• How can someone who's clumsy fight well? How is he good with an axe as well?
• Why is he afraid of drowning? Is he unable to swim? That'd be a more suitable weakness than what you have listed after.
