Whats wrong with white Ptah? The Mother tree of the Oracles is white......And white is a pure color. I think a white forest would contrast the dark shadiness that is inevitable for giant trees. Perhaps the elves wont have to live in dark shadows full of yucky spiders for once.

 

As for me, I agree a simple name would be good.

I suggest Talar'Ibar or Ibar'Talor "someone more savvy in Elvish could correct that please and thank you."

To me a Giant tree is physically a place between Heaven and Earth, as well as carrying the spiritual connections of making a good name for the Elves.
