House Vekon

The Vekons are a great house of the Kingdom of Oren. They are the Lords of Northal in service to their liege, House Winter. The House is diverse in it's talents with some experienced in commanding armies, others sticking to pursuits of the arcane, while others enjoy the simpler things in life such as brewing alcohol. Vekons are known to be furiously loyal once their trust is earned and are kind folk, save to those who find themselves at odds with their liege lords. The current patriarch of the House is Vectis Vekon II.

House Relics

- Veritas -

The pale, blue-steel longsword of House Vekon either sits in the House's vaults or on the Lord Patriarch's hip. In all the battles it has seen it has never been lost to enemy hands. It is a great point of morale to be wielded on the battlefield. It's loss would be a great wound to Vekon pride.

 

- The Golden Owl -
The sparkling sword of House Owl. This blade was first given to Vectis Vekon II by House Owl's Lord ( and Vectis's squire, ) Athirius Owl IV. It was promised that once Athirius was ready to be knighted, Vectis would return the Golden Owl. Some months into the training, Athirius disappeared and so the Golden Owl remains in the Vekon vaults.

- Bricks of Burzfolk-occupied Greywyn -
Taken from the corrupted landscape of old Burzfolk-occupied Greywyn, these bricks are symbolic in the proof of Setherien's forces' potential. They were taken as souvenirs by a young Vectis II and kept as reminders.
