So then why not make that part only accessible to monks? It wouldn't be too difficult.

What will happen with the land directly outside the Cloud Temple?  Will that be altered, too?

Asulon: "Omg having the Temple in a central location is awful lets make it more secluded."

Anthos: "Omg having the temple in a secluded location is awful lets make it more central."

Eventually they will realize that having spawns be "Racial" was a good idea after all. The only ones who didn't enjoy it were those that never RP'd in their races city. And that can easily be fixed ICly by a character going through a process of decreeing loyalty to the nation they wish to RP in.

Example would be an Elf that wished to be a merchant in human lands could go before the Human courts/rulers and ask for citizenship. It would certainly add another layer of RP for them, as many Elfs would be offended and treat such "traitors" differently.

If you wish to move the temple in RP... Don't use the antags...

The temple in itself is surrounded by an aura to which stops all destruction, hate, violence, magic(besides monks magic), and people being harmed.

Unless the antags find a way to get over this aura they cannot be used force the monks to move, ask the monks... to move perhaps.

You should hand the temple over to the Antags. Force the monks out into tents or something.

Not you personally shift, I meant the server.

Reminds me of watching Cloud Temple getting destroyed in Aegis..

This update would've been 100% better if I wasn't informed of the antag attacking..

Otherwise, cool.

Who would show up to fight 'em, otherwise?

Nono, not saying I don't want the antag showing up, but the whole suspense of how, when, where, what are all gone at this point. With us being updated on when antags are gonna attack, it makes events totally different with different goals in mind.

It's late so that might not make sense, but yeah.

What I mean is, if no one thinks there's gonna be a battle, no one's gonna show up for it.

I guess that's just a personal thing then. I'd show up for it.

There is a difference between making a post saying something is going to happen at the Cloud temple, and making a post saying "This will happen, and this, and this is how it will happen."

It should have been an rp post of monks gathering help perhaps, not "Cloud temple is being moved, and antags are attacking."

Whatever happened to the broadcasts that went out when the Undead attacked in Aegis?

Nowadays we just get posts saying "This will happen and Antags will attack."

Agreed with Jistuma, If an event such as the moving of cloud temple happens, It is more exciting if its not expected. It used to be that if an event was let slip before hand and everyone showed up we called it Metagaming.
