The difference is that there were also quite a number of people who liked a centralized Cloud Temple, whereas I don't think anybody in particular likes a secluded one. They're both extremes I suppose, but I think one has functional benefits, whereas the other does not.

 

 

Anyways, I'm pleased to see this finally happening. Just make sure to set up signs directing to the various nations almost immediately.

I thought we wanted the RP in the capitols and not in the CT (at least that is what both the staff and the players shouted during Asulon)

Because it is almost impossible to please everyone. People's minds change when they see things in action. What looks good on paper and what sounds good as an idea always isn't the best in action.

This choice was made awhile ago, if you don't rp around CT much this wont effect you much. Just trying something new!

The reason everyone stayed at the temple in Asulon was because everywhere was 15 minutes away. Central isn't the best option but the only other good option is to completely change the map(which they will be doing for 4.0)

You should hand the temple over to the Antags. Force the monks out into tents or something.

Put it where the GM village is. You already have a few buildings and it isn't on the main road.

 

As for why, it's because of the huge "Dead Walk" between the CT and the main road. People won't suddenly start RPing at the CT. This is in an aim to boosting activity. Aislin has a very developed thread on why this is a good idea to try.
