Letter To The Druids

*a small bird flies out to the druids, it dives down and drops a letter to the ground, it is neatly written in the common tongue....

 

  To whom ever it may concern,

      Hello, I write this letter to inform you that I have, in my company, a mutual friend. One Ouity Deathsbane, Wolf Druid and Former Arch Druid of the Druid Order, former captain of the Followers of Ariel, and former sergeant of United Aegis Coalition. I came across him on the road, assumedly in prayer on the road side to a shrine, when I "Convinced" him to join me at my home, which he currently resides in. My home's were about's is of only my concern, and I can assure you he is unharmed and alive, at least for the time being. If you wish to know, he is quite hospitable, as am I, though my hospitality can quickly grow dull... quite quickly. 

      Eventually letters will be put out  across Anthos, where then his life is put in your hands. I do not wish to harm him, though I will, and I promise he will remain alive unless my eventual letters remain unanswered. If I catch word or sight of anyone seeking to find me or him, he shall loose limb after limb, until he is not but a head on the side of the road. May your wisdom guide you all, and may you listen to my words as the will hold true to the very letter or Ouity Deathbane will see the world in death.

 

*The letter is left unsigned without a word of who sent it, with not a hint of who may have left it, except the bird flying off in the distant sky

Ouity makes casual small talk with his lofty captor.  He idly begins a mushroom crop with the little sprout he'd smuggled into the cell as he calmly awaits rescue via his crazy wife.

A letter returns promptly with a bird on the tail of the first.

 

"I have money, if that is acceptable pennance for his return. Please find me at the Inn by the Great Nations Crossing. We needn't complicate things, and his children are eager for his return."

The Bird Druid frowns as he reads the letter. He watches the bird fly away, then shouts, "HEY! HEEY!" He holds out a couple of seeds, watching the bird come closer. Then, slowly walks away while the bird follows. He leads it into his room, where he promptly closes the door, trapping the poor birdy. 

 

"So." He smiles to the bird, letting it eat the seeds. "Where, oh where, did you possible come from, little one...?"

 

((My character is going to commune with the bird to try and find out where it came from. PM me with details, but try not to be too specific (It is a bird, after all :p). Make it like a mystery :D))
