Telanir 6975 Share Posted December 26, 2013 Good evening community, please take this opportunity to read everything here as it is all very important. After countless hours (~9 hrs) of head-scratching, face-desking, sobbing, murdering innocent children, debugging, jumping off tall buildings, and despairing (uh-huh, right), Tythus and I updated the server to 1.7.2. Let me just say, straight up, what broke and what you wont see. Soulstones and Auction Houses/Shops, and Brews, Horse Plugin and Knockout. No, you won't lose your items, yes you'll have to walk. :( Don't touch Barrels of any sort, when the plugin is updated and put back they will glitch. If you have applied recently and were accepted, and you spawn as a Wandering Soul, please make a post here with a link to your application. The Minecraft world was not rolled-back but PLUGINS were. PEX and LogBlock being the most prominent, if you locked/unlocked any chests, donated for VIP and don't have it anymore, make a post. If your VIP is incorrect, above or below what you paid for, post the VIP you should have. We weren't expecting these kinds of issues, and they will probably take a day or so to be fixed and corrected as the staff make an effort to help you guys to their fullest extent. But it's christmas so we should be spending time with our families anyways. (lol looks like I didn't do that whoops <3) Sorry about the messy post, I'm busy keeping an eye on the server as it may crash once in a while and give me an error log (which let's me know what is wrong). None of the client mods are ready, the server is crashing everyone's MC every few minutes, and we've lost a bunch of server mods too. Telanir 6975 Author Share Posted December 26, 2013 I would need Tythus and he's not around right now to roll-back to 1.6.4. The amount of time we're going to have to put into getting 1.6.4 back on the server is also not minimal, the server would be down another day and I really want to avoid this. Especially after I've figured out how to get 1.7.2 running, and I'm so glad that it's working now. Expect the rest of today to be semi-stable, we're not fully aware of which plugins might crash us and stress testing with 50+ players is something we couldn't do and so we couldn't find these errors. I'll be keeping an eye on it though so it should be fine. I'm sorry guys, there were numerous complaints about the lag and connection issues with 1.6.4, I wanted to fix it as a Christmas present hehe, I failed dramatically but at least it's sort of working now. :) 6 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
