What is roleplaying?: - acting as another character while still being conscious of your real self. Similar to acting an stage, but improvising everything

 

What’s metagaming?: - using knowledge from out of character while roleplaying in-game

 

What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is when you make your character have the best advantage in whatever situation they are in. For an example: My character attacks and kills another character with out giving the other character a fair chance of defending themselves.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Alan was born on the outskirts of Schattenburg. He lived with his mother, father, and his younger brother on a farm. He didn't like the quiet life living on the farm; he liked the sound of blades and armor being made in the smithy and the noisy streets of a crowded city. When he was of age to travel by himself, he traveled to Kralta in search of work; preferably what he is good at, being a smithy and a carpenter. Unfortunately, Alan couldn't find any work there, so he decided to search for work in the capital, Abresi. He was fortunate to find a job smelting iron, steel, and other ores, in the forge in Abresi. But when the Holy Oren Nation went to war with the Urguan Nation, his job switched to making swords and shields for the soldiers. He spent long hours working in the forge, for many weapons and other gear was needed. When Alan had some time for himself, he spent the time practicing with a blade that he forged from the smithy, hoping one day to take up arms and help fight in the war.

 

What are they like (personality)?: - Ambitious, intelligent (for being raised on a farm), attractive, charismatic, and occasionally sarcastic--especially when faced with people he does not like.

What are their ambitions?: - To make money and start an independent life.  He would like to become the leading "smith" of his given town or city.

 

Do they have any special skills?: - Good with his hands, decently skilled with a blade.  Clever, charismatic, and strong.

 

What are their weaknesses?: - His eye for food and women.

 

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Tall, fairly muscular, brown hair, green eyes. Medium toned skin.

 

Anything else you want to say about them?: - He enjoys playing his lute that he is also skilled at. Alan would sometimes play his lute at the local tavern singing and playing for all to hear. Alan is also a womanizer.
