I've been critical in the past, but this looks absolutely amazing, and if you manage it without anything breaking, awesome.

Fantastic! This realy makes trading alot better! With food that rottens, and crafting requires skills. WIth this people have to trade more to get the goods they want.

A few questions: Will your skill lever decrese over time, or reset if you make a new charachter (when you are changing your name or something) ? Or will people, afther a while, become experts at almost everything, so the trading once again dies?

Have there been any thoughts about farming and mining restrictions? For example that iron is more common on one area, and some food is common in one area, and is not possible to grow in another? For example that you can't grow food in cold places, or you can't farm some plants in to hot places and so on?

Skill level won't decrease with time, this is so that we don't impede people who log on once in a while, or have to take month long vacations. You can choose to decrease a skill level though manually. :)

Farming has a food expiry restriction already so that's fine, mining is restricted by the time it takes to process the materials, so materials can be plentiful.

There will be a combat system, but not Vaquixine-esque. x3

I think this plugin is the best plugin i've tried. Yes, it takes time to get used to, but holy heck, it's good when you've tried it. I like how the plugin forces people to interact with eachother, and how when you first start, it gets this medieval theme and story behind your adventure, as you delve into the art of blakcsmithing for instance, which also forces you to focus on tanning.. And so on. If you are more than one person doing this, i can imagine the most fantastic roleplay being created, as it forces you to rp, simple and realistic roleplay.

Now one thing is for sure, the whole plugin still needs lots of tweaking and editing, so it will take time before people stop complaining about. The other thing i am worried about is the server lag affecting this roleplay.. Not that it's the biggest deal, but it can be quite teasing and annoying if the server lags while you are creating alot of wood, or alot of stone brick etc..

Other then that, i think this will have huge succes as we let people, delve into the very depths of this outstanding plugin. So patience is the key.

I like this, as a LoTC veteran. As somebody who is worried for new players and the time it might take them to adjust to this additional change from basic Minecraft, ( which causes us to lose more lasting recruits due to our server's differences to what they know of regular Minecraft ) I do not think this is necessarily a step in the right direction. I am concerned that even a tutorial island addition would be able to fully cover the breadth of this plugin and cause some new players that have potential to stay with us to just give up.

This is not about the plugin itself, this is about the way new players are introduced to the new plugin(s). Many other new minecraft servers, have a completely new UI, this is what makes a server speciel, and I think we should be proud of what we have to offer new players.
