The Free Irongut

This is the story of the free Irongut. His name was none other than Hiebe Irongut. As time passed, people began to think he was a son of Dwain. That is a bunch of nonsense. Since Hiebe is ancient and we are unable to contact him, we have the next best thing. Here is an interview with a survivor of the Irongut slavery era, an Irongut who was enslaved by a band of ruthless Goldhands for several years!

" Those times were 'ard, they truly were... 'iebe was a symbol of 'ope. He escaped th' places we were tuu weak to even luuk at ye know what ah mean? "

We then asked this traumatized Irongut, "What was the hardest thing about being a slave to Goldhands? "

" Oh the gold... definiteleh th' gold. One ov th' masters was named Fomsil. 'e was a monster... 'e truleh wus. 'e made me du unspeakable things... but 'iebe was ah symbol of 'ope! "

This is the second free Irongut speaking on the now deceased Hiebe Irongut. Rumour has it that the word Irongut came from Hiebe's method of escape from the Goldhands. Rumour has it that Hiebe smashed through the gates with an iron-forged gut, hence the name Irongut. Free Dwarf slaves then adopted the name as a symbol of hope. We tried getting in contact with some of Hiebe's ancestors, we failed to find any, his family line is too big.
