Zahrer's Speech

"Lads and lasses of Urguan, today I stand before you as I hope I always have, an improved model of those before me. I've led armies and led peace talks. I've helped to rebuild this Grand Kingdom into what it once was. But even with the removal of the Kjell Act and the implementation of the new taxation system, my work is not yet done. I feel that, as King, I will be able to strive for a better world. And with your help, this can be achieved.

In the very near future I plan to stretch our great dwarven railway across the lands of Anthos to carry our trade faster than ever before. As we speak the first pick has struck, and our engineering guild has begun digging the first tunnel to Fenn and the Snow Elves. After that, another to the Cloud Temple and another to the Conclave, and the humans in Abresi. Our trade shall flourish under the power of our mechanical might.

Guilds are being given a new home within the city. I have begun the construction of a large wing of the city in order to rent out large spaces to guilds not under the kingdom that desire to dwell within the walls of Kal'Ithrun. I project that this should be completed within an elven week.

Furthermore, I have requested the reactivation of the Merchant's guild. I intend for our heavily stocked vaults to be sold across Anthos in exchange for those supplies that we cannot acquire easily. A new trade, utilizing the railroad system, shall draw trade routes to every settlement from Vearhaven to Abresi and beyond.

I do not seek this position for myself, no, but for the betterment of Urguan. Generations before us fought and died to keep his name strong within our Grand Kingdom and with your help, this can be achieved. I was chosen by the Brathmordakin to stand here today, and by Dungrimm I will continue to stand here until I have ushered in a new age for the Dwedmar. A time of peace and plenty. A time where we are free to roam Anthos and meet equally with the other races. Children of Urguan, I do not ask much from you, but in return, you shall have everything from me. May the Brathmordakin watch over us all."
