The Theft Of A King, Disturbed Bones

Upon bleak and weary night, "Clicks!" and "Clanks!" rain through the sky, a cart of macabre design, four grotesque figures pulling it along with weary and grotesque moans "Ah-h!". Two figures sit atop the wagon whipping and commanding the bodies of the restless to push on.

Halting with a "C-reak!" of the aged planks that make the wagon whole, leaving the cart the two figures dive into the depths of a crypt taking no care nor woe about the blasphemous deeds done, a body plucked from the earth and dragged back to the wagon of undeath, leaving only the disturbed bodies of the Horen line. Godffrey the mighty was stolen or at least what ever body was held within his tomb.

[[ Or not? The coffin has a lock on it therefore you cannot take what is inside via lockk picking. So this RP is void. If what is inside is not returned I will place a ban report

We had a GM accept the legitimacy of it, we may lock pick after a successful raid as the GM said. We dealt with its defenders hence why we were able to. Nor did we touch any physical items, and for you to threaten a ban report is rude. You took no time nor curtsey in the manner you conducted this.

And you should've contacted me via pms, instead of haphazardly trying to tarnish this post.

Stella sits at the Cloud Temple. Staring at a small crowd that gathered near the large structure where others came and went to get a drink and talk away their daily stresses. Twiddling her fingers from her left hand around a strand of hair that hung down in front of her own face. Oblivious to what has transpired at the Horen Crypt, she continues with observing others in their daily activities.

((Loved the post on this. Well written and very quick to grab one's attention on how it's put into words.))

(( As owner of the lands the crypt is in, I can say it is cared for, the reason its in those lands is because its my lands. Though I obviously cannot fight back right now due to not having a computer that can run minecraft due to my old computer dying I will just have to accept that a bunch of edgy corpse stealer's apparently stole a corpse for no apparent reason. ))

William hears of this while he tends to the orphaned children of Telmar in the Wilds

"Damn they took the public corpse, luckily they don't have the real bones...."

Vladislav grumbles as everyone says that they were fake bones.

What kind of savages bury fake bones with name of an Emperor..?  There is only one reason the last of the Horens keep Godfrey's corpse secret... Necrophilia is sin!

[[ Not to mention there were no bones there, and you can only call it a raid if there are people actually there.

There was no corpse there.

It's an empty coffin.

A random peasant shrugs, mentioning something about poor harvest being more important before getting back to tend to his field.

((The way I see it is this, you have a tomb down with a body in it. Then it's only fair people should be able to steal the corpse down from it, unless you actually having a dummy one. Saying the body's a fake really is just blocking rp because you don't like how it effects your character. Either way instead of bickering over the forums just sort it out in pm's with the Gm who was involved. Tip: Don't put important people's tombs in public places. Only dummy ones or monuments or not at all.))

Upon openin the coffin that is locked and was chained into the earth and surrounded by literal tones of stones, you would find it filled with faded pieces of paper.

They had writing on them, some had the looks of someone crying on them and all were faded.

They seem to be prayers, or just notes.

Some recognizable names include William Horen, you think you see a Stafyr or two in there, possibly a Winter and a couple Valois, Therving-Denims, a note written in Scipplish, and quite possibly a Flay knew how to write basic common and wrote a prayer

And then there is random prayers to the 'God-Emperor' from Teutons who thought of him as such because Mirtok is a space marine

In the middle is a book, on the cover is a Lorainne Cross.

Inside you find it hollowed out with a flask with a fresher note on it saying "Get your grubby hands off my plowin liquor -William Horen"

((I don't want to see any more OOC in this thread.  There's a handy tool called forum PM's - make use of it. ))

An annoyed High Pontiff Regulus speaks with an annoyed Archbishop John, "Why did those silly little new-Horens make a tomb for Godfrey, when his bones have always been kept hidden by the faithful?" Regulus harumphs, and touches a ruby ring with a dragon etching on his finger below his Pontifical ring, and sighs at the antics in the south. Even the Count William knows not where Godfrey's corpse lies.

The 'new-Horens' who are older than Castus made a Shrine of Godfrey inside the Tomb containing other less notable Horens
