This is all idiotic. If I recall, AiiM was banned because of 'evidence' from skype logs so I see no reason to single out the evidence that has been posted all over the forums. I believe Koto is the current only logical GM with the right mind.

It was, to my belief, a compilation of ig and forum behavior. Toxic attitude and whatnot.

This is just sad, really, really, really sad. First of all, it shows the ineffectiveness of the Nation Leaders to organize their factions and coordinate with each other to establish war rules so that this kind of thing doesn't happen. What should of happened is before any raids were conducted, any war declared, you guys should have sat down and outlined a set of rules so this **** doesn't happen. Ever. It's just a failure on the part of all nation leaders involved.

 

Secondly, Chikea was biased. Period. If there was evidence, it should have been handled by a non-biased GM or Admin to avoid an outcry. Perhaps CrayFish (if he isn't biased), Zarsies, Sky, hell even Native. I think it's irresponsible to say that Chikea is neither biased nor has a history with the Orenian player base. The fact that there is hard evidence on skype where Chikea claims to be a "pocket gm" for the "Other" side and wants to ban them (the Orenians) all. 

 

The fact that this situation has blown up to this point is just a failure on the part of the staff and nation leaders, but it is also an opportunity to learn and grow. If I could give any advice now, it would be for the two sides to sit down and outline a set of rules for the war so ban reports like this one don't happen. Also, unban Knox or simply release the evidence because I'm tired of this shitty "VEIL OF SECRECY." If there is evidence, you would do a lot better to post it and shut everybody up.

I'm going to note that a certain player received a 5 month ban when a majority of evidence was skype.

As to the AiiM ban, I think there was more to it than Skype. It was a united GM and Admin decision, unlike this one, where the GMs seem very publically disunited over it.

People who break rules get bans. I, for one, am happy to see more strict gms. Especially those willing to go against such a large subcommunity.

Then when a time presented itself and you pissed them off in some way, they gave it over to a gm and you were banned.

Knox pissed off someone in character, they brought it out of character and other people he had made mad sent old evidence against him to get him banned. I'm 9000% sure you wouldn't appreciate that and would expect your friends to back you up.

You make a fair point.  Now should that point be applied to GMs as well?  Admitted bias should not go unpunished, to use your own logic here, just for the sake of your argument.

Now place yourself in the shoes of the Orenians. Their leader has been banned by a, or what they at least the Orenians feel to be, biased GM. Now put this scenario right as a major war is beginning. Now think, what if this was you or your leader. The GM that banned you claims that there is a pile of evidence that shows they justly banned you/your leader, but they will not release said evidence.

 

Consider that while I watch The Walking Dead.

Based on all the red, orange and blue bold names below, it seems the Admin Cavalry have arrived. Probably best we all leave this be and give them some time to sort this mess out.
