No. If someone regrets what they have done and wishes to rejoin the server they may make a ban appeal.

I don't think the point is that they are too lazy to make a ban appeal, it is more permanently banned players who get their appeals denied to have a second chance

If this were to be accepted, a requirement I see would be also wiping the whitelist and forcing everyone to reapply.

I feel like everyone is looking at this the wrong way...Honestly guys, it's not about ANY of the things you've mentioned. I thnk I'm about to say a lot of things you don't want to hear, and especially not from me or about someone I'm certain a good handful of you are supporting this for. First of all, it's not about being mad it's about being professional no matter how much the staff hasn't been in the past regarding quite a few cases. And even then, while some previous staffstaff members handled things in the shittiest of ways, they got rid of some of the worst.

Just look at the Respiren conundrum. Best janitor the staff has ever had. Nobody cleaned out the filth of this server like him. Literally, nobody can compare to his work. Oh, but weren't innocent players harassed and bullied by him freely? Quite so. And even all these good bans of his were handled in the trolliest of manner. But I gotta say, he was a huge factor in keeping LotC afloat.

So that's covers my response of "It's not about the staff being mad or unprofessional in the past or even now, it's about being professional now. Onto the next target of this topic...

Coaster thinks this is a bad idea and so do I. There are so many players that just NEED to stay banned. Those on alts that shouldn't be let back? Well guess what, on an alt they're forced to be far more careful, which means it is far less likely for them to do anything to harm other player's the experience.

If you want to propose anything regarding this, I suggest proposing the removal of permabans. That's something I think everyone can get behind. I would support that, but not this.
