Definitions

This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not another website / person's!

What is roleplaying?: -  Roleplaying is a form of acting. You make a character, and you play him and do his actions, talk for him, etc. There are several roleplaying games that have been made.

What’s metagaming?: -  Using information gained OOC, IC. For example, these two are on skype: Carl: Dude john plz u gotta help me, the king is beheading me, log on ASAP! Dude: Ok I'll be right there!

What’s powergaming?: -  There are two forms of PG. Either doing a ridiculously owerpowered action your character couldn't possibly do, or doing an action without letting the other player react.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - 

Age 0-9

Charles grew up as a poor merchant boy. His father was a travelling merchant, and his mother helped around. He was a rather lonely child, and wasn't good at making friends. He enjoyed helping his parents, and was very loyal towards them, and never broke rules. He didn't make many friends in his childhood.
Age 10-18

In his teenage years, he kept on helping his poor parents. They never made a lot of money, but they all got food atleast once a day.

Age 18-20

At the age of 18, he was forced to go work on a small fishing boat, having a crew of five men.
He did his job more then well, for a very bad pay. He learned the value of loyalty and being diligent. The crew members became good friends with Charles. At the age of 20, he came back to his parents, with a little sum of coin. He gave it to his parents, and said that he would go back to the sea, since he loved it. His parents agreed, and used the coin to somehow make the merchant stall better.
Age 20-29

He came home with a lot of coin, as he had been on sea for ten years. He brought his parents fresh fish, and much of it. They sold the fish and were shocked on the money they got for it. His parents however, died when they went on a small boat, wanting to get a smell of the sea. The boat sank, and his parents drowned, since they couldn't swim. Charles was furious when he heard the news, since his parents were the first people he respected and gave his trust. He then kept on living, in depression and sorrow, and slowly started drinking and smoking, wasting away his money.


What are they like (personality)?: -  Usually keeping very calm, and keeps his head high all the time.

What are their ambitions?: -  He's a former captain on a ship, and would like to continue that job.

Do they have any special skills?: -  Good with numbers, very intelligent, fantastic swimmer, and very loyal.

What are their weaknesses?: -  A bit to proud of his achievments, has a weakness for women, and is an addict to pipe smoking.

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: -  Dark blond hair tied up in a ponytail and a nicely trimmed beard. He has dark brown eyes, and is rather tanned. He wears a blue trench like coat, along with a white shirt under, with a strap around his body, with several holsters on for knives, swords and other weapons. He wears black trousers, and high brown boots.

Anything else you want to say about them?: -  Overall a fairly nice guy :D

-Biography has no inclusion of lore

-Character seems to contradict itself in various ways. The personality and flaws collide, since he is apparently a happy man who deals with illicit substances to become happy? Also poor peasants get little to no intelligence, so it seems out of place.

Please fix these up and private message me if you have any concerns. Re-apply after 24 hours of this denial.
