Hello! Just thought I'd make a quick list of the donor perks that need to be removed, and the ones that need to stay due to EULA issues, recently.

I don't think donating is the same as purchasing. All of the perks can stay.

This is a bunch of knee-jerk panic and reddit drama that will blow over. Go google the EULA the relevant sentence says don't do this:

 

let other people get access to anything we‘ve made in a way that is unfair or unreasonable.

 

Which means nothing in a legal setting. There's going to be a bunch of back and forth drama and Mojang customer support will receive the amount of flak your average GM gets here, and in the end it will be decided you probably shouldn't run a PvP server where only donators can craft diamond armor.

 

Things like the scary mount (zombie horse) are actually inaccessible in Vanilla minecraft, so technically the vip perk counts as an addon to the vanilla game since we add a new flavor of mob with bonus functionality provided by a plugin. Similarly we did not restrict fireworks at all, we just also give you the option to trigger a visual effect on command.

 

Item pack probably won't be a problem but any excuse to get rid of that one I suppose :)
