You have not yet been appointed to the position, Delonna. You must apply for such a position.

The message is returned.

"I am not asking permission to do my continue serving the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya, and if you value progress as much as you claim to then you would not expect me to either. If there's someone else who not only possesses firsthand understanding of all our signed treaties, but also benefits from amicable relations with our Valah allies and holds experience conducting diplomatic discussion with our Bortu enemies, then I invite you cease wasting time with bureaucracy and appoint them instead. I have no qualms with returning to retirement if my services are not needed."

The pride of my life has been to assist the Mali'aheral in their acquisition of writings and knowledge, and to through that medium acquire knowledge for myself. The Eternal Librarian, specter of the underground halls, could easily work in conjunction with myself. If the lawful authority deems her unworthy of a position due to her supernatural nature, I would be happy to apply for Okarir'indor. As a corporeal being, I could venture outside of the city walls and underground halls to gather information required.

Eternal Librarian, it would be my great pleasure to work with you in a symbiotic relationship of information gathering and organisation; allowing your incorporeal form to do the tasks it was bound to this realm eternally for still, while maintaining outside relations when it comes to colleges, scientific and magical research, and of course the library itself. You are a capable spirit, more than capable of this position on your own. But allow me to act as a vessel, your voice in the governmental body, while interjecting opinions and information of my own to form a truly knowledgeable voice with which to address our fellows.

I feel, Kalenz Uradir, that I am at least somewhat worthy of this position. To serve the people would be my great honor. All I ask is the opportunity.

A message is returned to Delonna:

While I do know of such an individual and his numerous superior qualifications, I am loathe to inform you he already occupies a seat on the Hieal'thilln known as the seat of the Sohaer. Thus, it would appear I am very much obliged to appoint you, Delonna, to the position of Okarir'lliran in his stead.

Remember, llir, second choice does not mean second rate. Perform as well as your competition might have.

kaean'leh evareh, Okarir'lliran.

~ Sohaer Kalenz Uradir

Silir'ilume notifies Kalenz Uradir.

"I henceforth express interest in the position of Okarir'akaln. This should require no speech; if the position is truly based on merit, my adeptness at such tasks and my contributions to the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya are already well known."

The Eternal Librarian huffs softly.

"We must speak properly before I can trust you, Laureh'thill."

Laureh'thill looks in the Eternal Librarian's direction, approaching it before giving a soft and unimposing bow.

"At any time, perhaps you could send me a note? ((forum pm or Skype)) You seem to manifest only when I'm not about town or exceptionally tired."

He then turns, offering a polite wave goodbye as he strolls away.

A young mali'aheral girl steps up, clearing her throat once. She is out of the normal Sillumiran garb that generally is worn by herself and many others, opting for something less militaristic. With a slight sway to the left, and a small murmur, she begins to speak.

"Lliran, I would like to propose that I, Yulnii Elibar'acal, be appointed to the position of Okarir'indor. I have several reasons as to why that I am the best qualified for such a position."

Biting her lip once, she continues.

"First and foremost, I would like to continue the Elibar'acal family tradition of helping this city grow. My Uncle, Athri, and my Great-Aunt Valmuel both put their lives and souls into us as a people. While their specific interests varied, each one of them was there to assist and improve the living conditions of those in Haelun'or.

With my Uncle's passing and my Great-Aunt's disappearance, I find myself compelled to do more than I can, especially considering my position in the Sillumiran. I am not... the greatest fighter,"

At this, the girl beckons to her incredibly thin arms, a grin crossing her face.

"And I can be of so much more use. In the last few years, I have grown immensely in skills involving organization, diplomacy, and the studies in which all mali'aheral follow. I hold fast on the matter that organization, proper education and documentation of every scholarly, magical, and book related subject will help us grow as a species, and indeed, as a power.

For we are different from all the other species in that we don't rely on brute force to get what we want. We rely on the strength of mind, not the strength of muscles. With my experience in the Sillumiran, and long life in this city, I know that I will do very well in this position. Ahernan, mali'thill. Maehr'sae hiylun'ehya."

With a small smile, she bows her head and steps down. She releases a long breath, one she didn't even realize she was holding.

"Laureh'thill can be trusted."

"We all know an Elibar'acal would seek to destroy any books on magic anyways. Best that Laureh'thill is the Okarir'indor..." States Iatrilemar quite firmly.

Goes to gather her fellow Mali'aheral together as she speaks to them " Karin'ayla fellow Mali'aheral I, Mediliyur Hiylu’irmira here by apply to the position of Okarir’mali so that all the new and old Mali'aheral within our walls and at our gate can be judged fairly by the standards of the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya, and greet all those deemed pure of Body and mind into our great nation." Quickly falls silent after her speech waiting for a moment before turning to walking away into her home again.
