The wind blows softly through the air, calmly, gently. The tents around the fire barely scramble and sit still. No sound is to be heard. The Bandit Camp is cold and lonely in the forest.

"Is it time?" He sits up in his cot and pops his head outside to check the time. He looks up at the moon and notices that it sits directly above him, midnight.

"The time has come indeed." He wears his belt tightly and buttons the top few buttons on his coat. He forces his hood on and stands tall.

The wind picks up.

"Come friends, for you all leave this realm together!" He softly whispers to himself. A slight grin is seen through the darkness of his hood, his white teeth shine bright in the moonlight.

Soft footsteps can be heard in the dirt. The cracking of dry, dead leaves is heard with every step.

"You first." He glances at the tent to the right of his and begins walking towards it. He opens the tent flap and slowly, very slowly walks in.

He grabs a small knife from his belt and holds it upwards. He uses his right hand to cover his victims mouth and then forces the blade downwards into the mans throat. He listens to the gargle of blood and then walks out of the tent.

Rain begins to fall onto the camp, putting out the fire. The sizzle of water upon the fire is loud. But the two other tents are still, and their occupants are sound asleep.

"One down." He giggles slightly as he walks to the closest tent. Ready to murder the occupant.

He opens the flap to the other tent and does the same as the last.

He walks slowly to the last tent and stands still at the entrance.

"The time has come to fight leader! Wake up!" He takes a few steps back as he gets drenched in the rain.

"Ah." A mans voice is heard. "So it has young Gekido." The man steps out of his tent with his sword ready.

Gekido charges the man, pointing the tip of his sword forwards towards the Leaders chest.

The Leader flings his sword upwards to catch Gekido's sword and hopefully knock it out of his hands.

Gekido's sword his held steadily in hand but his arm is lifted leaving himself vulnerable for attack.

The Leader throws his palm towards Gekido's chest and pushes him back a few feet.

Gekido simply charges again, his eyes widen and stare stiffly in the Leader's eyes.

The sound of rain and clasps of swords are heard throughout the night. The sun rises and the claps continue. Heavy pants of exhaustion surround the camp. Blood shed is scattered across the camp. The rain has stopped and the sound of the birds are heard around the sky. The two fighters seem to be equally matched and unable to defeat each other.

Gekido makes one final stab towards the Leaders chest. The leader showing no effort to defend allows the blade to slide into his heart.

"We all make bad choices, this is not uncommon. This was my choice and I see much fault in it. I wish things were different, not for you but for me. You bandits were my family after the will of Setherien was lifted from my soul. I found no place to go and you all took me in. It is time for me to give up on Evil and instead fight for the good of Mankind. I appreciate the training and the strength this clan has bestowed upon me, I will use this forever." Gekido walks to the Bandit Leader and grabs a bone necklace attached to his neck. It has a symbol Gekido knows to mean strength and courage on it. He takes it and puts it in a pouch on his belt.

"I begged a change for this clan! You all refused me! I have great ideas, I just don't know how to enforce them! So i forced my rules on this land, doing so I had to kill all of you." Gekido takes his sword and sheathes it. He walks off into the distance, going to spread his message of good.

Gekido mumbles to himself. "That was the only way to prove it to myself, that I am good not bad."

The land is once again silent, the wind still and the rain gone. The young elf Gekido spends the rest of his life helping others and hopefully finding a girl to marry and have children with who will spread his message across The Fringe.
