So is the gamevox server now going to be hosted separate from the games server? 

If so, then why can't we just host a TS separately?

we would still be getting the ddos protection from the same provider and they don't deal in specialized protection so what the best way of saying it is we are using a jack of all trades ddos protection right now however if we moved the Voip server to gamevox it would then mean we would only be getting minecraft traffic through that ddos filter meaning we could specialize the ddos protection to give better performance hopefully to the minecraft client. (less dropouts better ping less lag spikes etc)

Yes it is very comparable if not cheaper than our current TS setup due to the deal we have with them

Yes you will need to contact an admin though for this we will hope to have this automated later

You don't have to use it if you don't want to, but using Gamevox definitely has it's advantages and we'll continue to use it (even if just for staff.)
