The Story of the Oathbreakers

It was a peaceful day in Lindale. Grand Prince Tundrak II was taking a stroll, when he was suddenly delivered an urgent message by bird. Kael’Daenor was a traitor, and the High Elves were rallying in Tahni’sol. They were to march on the Princedom.

Immediately, the Grand Prince called the Faersu’sil to arms. By the time the soldiers of Haelun’or arrived, they were ready and waiting. However, one of the Faersu’sil, a High Elf, rushed to the gates and opened them, letting in the horde of Elven soldiers. The Haelun’or-scum were breaking the treaty!

The Faersu’sil, minus several High Elven traitors, retreated to the urban district. There, they awaited the arrival of reinforcements. Soon, glorious warhorns could be heard in the distance, as a column of Dwarven soldiers marched up to the front gates. Kalenz and Kael’Daenor met them at the front gate, smirks on their faces, as they believed the Princedom was secure. However, several Faersu’sil dashed into the crowd, opening the gates for their Dwarven allies.

The Dwarven soldiers marched inside, forming a column in front of the High Elves, while the Faersu’sil rallied on the other side. It was here that Lord Protector Zahrer Irongrinder attempted to negotiate with them. Zahrer asked them peacefully to leave while Grand Marshal Ognar Grandaxe promised safe passage out of Urguan and Fenn land. The high elves, continuing their shouts for Tundrak’s head, march out through the front gate.

They managed to rally in front of the gates, with Human soldiers arriving to their aid. Again Lord Zahrer shouted for the leaders of the humans and high elves to come forward and speak diplomatically, only to be met with shouts for Tundrak’s head. Kael’Daenor, ex-lord commander of the Princedom, rode forward on his small horse. A high elf himself, he professed that he was the voice of the people of Fenn, despite the fact that the so called “rebellion” was just him and a few other high elves. Taking steps to avoid the breaking of the ceasefire, Lord Zahrer orders the gates to close and the armies pull back to Castle Black Frost. It is assumed that in their anger, lust for power, and desire to continue their genocide, the events continued as they did. They found a way over the walls, and proceeded to charge into the Princedom. The Allied forces rallied at Castle Black Frost, with Elven and Human soldiers directly behind them. However, when they arrived, they were in for a nasty surprise.

Boiling oil poured down from the fortifications, killing many of their number. The Allied forces of the Princedom, Grand Kingdom, Hanseti, and Orcs managed to hold off the oathbreakers in Castle Black Frost, until they pulled back.

Warhorns blew as the Allied forces charged out of the fortifications, slaughtering large numbers of unsuspecting Elven and Human soldiers. And so, Haelun’or and several humans from non-affiliated factions broke their oaths, and the oathbreakers and attempting usurpers were defeated upon this day.

Let it be known on this day that the Kruganistan Bloc asked the high elves for a continuation of peace, only to be met with a blade.

Drake sits in a tavern once again, recalling the events of the day..

"The fact that they attempted to box us in by closing gates on us was justification enough for us to launch a pre-emptive strike. Ignore their **** lads."

GorThoren'Gorkil, Dominus of the Orcs bashed his fist against his chestplate rallying his brothers. Doused from head to toe in blood he turns to his brothers and roared ((TRANSLATED)) "Brothers, this is the second time the elven leaders have turned there back on there word!" he scoffs and spits a hock of blood on the ground. "They try to fight with words, but they cannot even keep it! The Crimson-Chivay bond have dishonored the Krughanistan-Bloc once again!"

The Orenian army marched home, shrugging off the typical notion of 'Bloc Victory,' as it had always been seen as cowardice. He'd found their logic of, "If we're still alive, we won, " to be utterly pathetic and most of the soldiers within the imperial army agreed when spoken to about the matter. It was all too common that the enemy extended arm in aggression, when they'd chance of victory, only to fall back on empty words and cowardly cries when the tables turned. If the Dwarves had truly wished Diplomacy, they would have sent but a single unarmored man to speak the matter over but instead, they brought forth armies in an attempt to muscle the High Elven efforts back. Failing horribly, they'd taken to the typical nature of children, calling the motives of others crooked when their own efforts had failed and they'd lain defeated.

Looking to the utterly routed forces of the Dwarven army, Thersist casually declared the defeat of the enemy and lead the army home. The enemy hadn't had any true glory, they'd simply quivered in a corner and would seek to milk the minor casualties of the Orenian army as a boost to their Morale. Trust in the Dwarves has been lost, first they would turn your deaths from sickness into their profits and now, they would oppress people they've publicly declared free.

Rex Grogmar smiles the not sun's smile, but a regular smile.. He tears up the letter to the High Elves then picks up his warhammer trotting out of his palace in search of High Elven filth to crush.
