Is there a reason that the application acceptance seems to of slipped over the times? For example, why has this application been accepted ( https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/114665-appli-for-echo/ ) when it is filled to the brim of spelling errors and inconsistencies. I am all for a bigger server, but that doesn't mean to sacrifice quality for quantity.

1. It says on the application something about understanding what you can and cannot do as a villain. However, I did not see anything in the rules involving villains. I most likely missed it, but after several rereads I could not find anything.

2. I'm interested in playing a Forest Dwarf, however I cannot find anything substantial about them to actual solidify my interest (i.e how many people play as a forest dwarf, where they frequent, etc.) This might not be in your jurisdiction, but I could not find anywhere else on the forum that would fit for me to ask this question.

My application has been in the approved section for 22 hours now but hasn't been implemented yet. Is this normal or is there something else that i need to do before being implemented?

1. Villian applications have been removed, this was done sometime last year.

2. I honestly cant say I have seen many, however that should not stop you from trying the race. You can find rp as just about any race in just about any location. Its all about getting involved.

A gm needs to move it into the implemented location. If it has not happened still, we can try to work on getting it done soon.

Hey guys, two quick questions regarding character creation and backstory.

-When choosing a race / culture, do you have to be specific down to the town / village they came from? I am not familiar with the layout of the world and don't know its geography which is a bit of a kick in the teeth whilst trying to choose where a character originates from. Is there a map at all, or even something crude that could be scribbled in paint? :P
EDIT: found the map tab, please ignore that part.

- On the topic of names, what real life cultures are a good basis for choosing a name? Should a character have a last name if he isn't noble etc.? Which names would be off limits due to current characters / famiies / nobles etc. also having said names? I realise that last part is a tad vague, so only answer if you can :D

That's all I can think of at the moment, hopefully I'll remember the rest of them soon :D

1. On the wiki (http://wiki.lordofthecraft.net/) several town names are listed from different realms. Be careful to make sure they existed during the time that your character is alive.

2. It really depends on what culture or subrace you're playing as, if any. So pick whichever name you like the best. As for last names, you can have a last name and most people do.
