A Solution To Drought

Chase Irongut walks outside after a long nap of many months. His stomach grumbles and he decides to get some food. After consuming his large quantity of bread, carrots, and potatoes he wonders outside to see the light again. Chase stretches as he walks outside of his clan hall, as he does so he notices the air is not as humid as before. His eyes wonder to the large 'would be' lake infront of his home.

"Are ye fucken kidden meh! Oi fucken sleep fer ah couple ov months und t'e water disappears?!"

Chase goes about towns seeing that their lakes and ponds dried up. He heads toward oceans and sees them nearly bone dry. Rubbing the bridge of his nose, he takes a sigh and wonders back to his home. He sits down at his desk after placing a stack of different hydromancy books next to himself.

"Fucken done, tuh damn 'ot. Maken meh sweat all t'e damn toime."

Setting out several sheets of paper and enough coal and ink sacks to write volumes he sets to work creating a plan to solve the drought.

[!]This message is sent to the Lords of Kal'Arkon and any slightly less snobbish high elves. [!]

The drought, it is irritating. I like to take bathes in ponds but I cannot. Conservation of water is to much work for me and the Kal'Arkon lake is filled with pollution. Still beyond me why the dwarves decided to dumb pollution into a pond, much less the one within their home. Besides that I have written plans for any able bodied enchanters or runesmiths to devise.

*A drawing of a diamond block is seen.*

Get a diamond large refined slab of diamond. This should be easy for the dwarves to create seeing that they horde vasts amounts of treasures within their halls. Now get either a runesmith or an enchanter. This should be easy for both the high elves and the dwarves. Now make sure you do not act stupid. After all those are checked you can proceed.

Now enchant the diamond with the void magic of water. The enchantment should be of ice, and it only affect the area around it, not the diamond itself. Make sure that you have a skilled person making this. If done wrong you might die from exertion or freezing to death. Now as you enchant it bind it with a key phrase. Write that phrase down afterwards. That part is finished.

Now enchant the diamond with the ability to float whether it be telekinesis or aeromancy does not bother me. Make sure the enchantment is bound to a word and will stop floating as soon as it reaches a certain height. I would implore the person(s) who attempts this to be skilled for it might fly up and hit your face, break your face and then break out of your house/home/blarg.

Now with those enchantments finished enchant it with protection. If you are an enchanter protect it with shielding of arcane magic. If you are a runesmith use something that will protect it. Crazy objects fly around in the sky and might hit this.

After all of the enchantments are finished you should be able to set the diamond outside, say the two command words and if all goes correctly it should launch itself into the sky and activate causing water to accumulate in the area nearest to it. And when I say nearest I mean it is not going to spread to several cities. It should give the area more humidity and allow water to collect more commonly.

This is a hypothesis and for events that may see itself to prevent this, that sucks.

~Chase Irongut

((Water molecules in the air would be frozen by the enchantment of the diamond and cause the clouds to be heavier which would cause snow to fall that would turn into rain and refresh the ground. No, I am not making water from void magic that people drink, it is void magic freezing preexisting water to condense it.))
