The day was the same as any other day....

 

 

The sun shined through the windowsills. Birds woke to the shimmering dew clinging to tree branches and chirped to the sounds of morning.

Across the fringe, the sound of peaceful serenity had arrived to bring forth the day.

 

A man

 

An elf

 

and a Dwarf

 

All woke up as they normally would.

 

Mutton and Ale for the dwarf, then to check on his stock of books and care for his horses in stable.

 

For the Elf, tea and biscuits then to head off to the city.

 

For the Human, an awakening in Vekaro filled with beer and mutton before suiting up in armor for the day ahead.

 

 

 

But something was wrong....

 

 

The Elf, the dwarf, and the Human, all spread out across the fringe..

 

Found themselves Alone.

 

Completely and utterly alone.

 

 

 

As if every soul in the realm had vanished at an instant, silenced by some magic or that time had stopped itself.

 

But how could that be?

 

The day continues...

 

Animals awaken, trees rustle in the wind.

 

What could've caused this anomaly to curse the three? 

 

 

 

Desolate Kal'Arkon

 

 

Not a soul in sight....

 

 

Where could everyone have gone??

 

 

 

 

 

 

Spots of land across the Fringe had randomly vanished..

 

Kal'Arkon, Kralta, Lin'erhal, Vekaro

 

Holes in the world, extending down to bedrock had been filled with water..

 

 

Some form of Magic perhaps?

 

 

 

What could have happened here?
