Personality: Rachel has always been a relatively quiet woman, accustomed to being behind the scenes rather than front and center. She is quiet by her own choice, not because she is shy or because she feels pressured to be, but because she does not find it worth the time to talk if she has nothing interesting to add to a conversation. Most of the time Rachel is instead listening in on whatever she can. She would much rather hoard away bits and pieces of gossip to herself rather than share it to whomever possible.

 

Growing up a peasant girl, she does not take what she has for granted. She is very meticulous and clean. Quite literally from head to toe she is well scrubbed. She finds personal hygiene to be at the top of her daily list and spends most of her time checking for dust and other things out of habit due to finding work as a house maid when a peasant.

 

Though in a sense quite girly, she is not afraid of combat. She was often would perch on the walls of the Briarwood keep and watch the dwarves and humans fight in Vekaro. She would always joke with her twin brother that she wished she could be a man as well and join those sacrificing their lives for the safety of Oren, instead of sitting around and doing a whole lot of nothing. Ever since Harrison's death, she has become more reserved and less concerned about the opinions of others. Whether that be because Harrison was always highly opinionated, or because she realized life was short, the outcome remained the same.

She became concerned for her and her sons safety after a raid on the Briarwood keep. After being stabbed, kidnapped, and harrassed, Rachel sought to learn how to use a dagger and a bow and arrow. She prefers indirect combat and conceals that she occasionally carries a weapon, even with guards.
Flaw(s): Rachel is quite prideful, and although prefers not to say much, she can often let offensive comments slip about other houses. When slighted or offended, she is not afraid of an argument or the pride of her house. Rachel is stubborn and thus can be hard to calm down. She can be quite pretentious at times towards other houses due to her pride.
