Ugh this reason right here, has caused me no end of irritation.

 

Pretty sure they weren't. There were some extinct elves that lived in a snowy area in the Occultus Lore that Gaius headed, but the actual Snow Elves was something ww2buff approached me with back in Anthos.

To be honest I think this is stupid, just because i'm not a Goblin doesn't mean that I should be worse at Alchemy. Its the same principle as because I live in Devon doesn't mean I'm a good farmer.

 

Other than that the racial buffs are cool (Resistant to Knockback, etc..)

No no, the thing doesn't mean that goblins are better or worse at Alchemy, it means they level up faster.

From what Sporadic said, I think it's a bit silly that to reach maximum tier in a certain profession you have to be a certain race. Races should not be connected to what profession a character can level up to max. It makes so much more sense just to make it harder to level up that profession to max tier, but not impossible.

 

It really just doesn't make sense, it seems like a bad development decision to me.

Na, that's racial profession boost, like, you don't have to be a main profession to reach it. Read the other thread about professions that Sporadic did.
