In Search Of A Mental Mage

 Share

Recommended Posts

Posters can be seen about Thales, predominantly in the Cloud Temple. A few docile pigeons strut nearby, and the posters would read:

"A mental mage is needed to aid in a criminal investigation. They must be unaffiliated with the Mali'aheral of Haelun'or, the Druid Order, and preferably the Splinter Elves. Even if you are somehow connected with this group, we may consider you if none other can be found.

You will be paid for your work, specific prices can be discussed in private. And, more importantly you will be aiding in bringing justice for a murder.

If you are interested in this task, please write to Elorna Lle'hileia with your qualifications. Any of the birds you may find beside this letter will be able to find me for your response. Thank you in advance."

"Wonderful. My name will finally be cleared, and I can continue my work un-impaired." Durion grumbles, flexing his recently broken hand.

"Corvo , a necromancer , has the power of mental magic."

The tall and emaciated figure of Abraeke surveyed the flier with a dull demeanour, after standing stiff for a couple of seconds he returned the bird with a filthy piece of parchment, it shredded in parts and being shrouded by a disgusting stench of rot and mold.

"Would the mali'ame object to a necromancer assisting in this trial? However disliked my kind might be I can guarantee I have no past ties with either of the parties and am of a sound mind."

After some time, a note returns.

"We will not be working with necromancers."
