I got my first diamond in a casket at 74000 lumberjacking, the iron is from mining. ^^

Yes, the apples do seem to give some kind of drop rate buff from my experience.

It amuses me that people are just now realizing things like this.  It makes me think many of the feedback threads were started before people fully understood / appreciated / tested the plugins that the coders worked so hard on.

Helbolt has an excellent point.

 

Initially I disliked the idea of a new system & professions.

But instead I kept my mouth shut and actually experimented with it. 

Unsurprisingly our coders/developers actually made something FUN (who knew?!)

 

Unfortunately people would much rather complain straight away rather than try it.
