New Minecraft Eula, No More Vip?

So, recently I have seen a video about the new minecraft EULA which is restricting some important things for big communities, like paying for virtual goods, selling in-game cash and a few more thing. Here is the video so you can see it for yourself.

It doesn't mean no more VIP, it just means that nobody can have an edge in the game from donating (Like diamond armor, etc).

VIP can still be for the forums even if it's not in game, and that EULA came out months ago anyways.

I wonder if renaming items is part of the policy, because that's a part of Minecraft.

Renaming items, restriction to commands (including plugins), and anything that gives you an advantage over others or any form of game content that is being restricted has to go from VIP perks. In fact, there can't be donation perks, other than cosmetic stuff.

 

The idea is that people will now donate only if they find the server worthy of their money. That is a good thing, because it makes the server's staff (any server, mind you) work harder on improving the experience, otherwise they don't get money and the server eventually dies.

It can also be argued that since its part of mc its part of the gameplay.

Either way expect a lot less donations for servers. Sucks but maybe now people cant ask for insane payment for plugins or map work
