Sky 0 Share Posted August 11, 2014 I would like to know several things. Firstly, is one week == one year right now? Secondly, what was the time skip from The Fringe to Thales? Thirdly, what's the time skip going to be from Thales to Athera? Finally, if the first question was answered with a yes, will it remain this way come 4.0? Most elves use one week as a year, to age their characters 2. I think so, that is what I heard. 3. I don't know.
Overland 349 Share Posted August 11, 2014 Most of this is what I've gathered from the forums here and there, so don't take my word as complete fact. 1. To my knowledge, yes. 2. The time skip has been fixed from what I last heard from Sporadic. 3. I don't think so, however I've not heard anything about it. 4. I guess so. Proddy 2415 Share Posted August 11, 2014 1. Two weeks = One RP year. As mentioned above, however, some Elves and child characters count it as a week to age their characters along. 2. 3-4 years, I'd say. I'm not entirely sure. 3. No idea. You may want to consult a GM/LT member on that one I do thoroughly hope the first is changed, as two weeks feels a bit long for a year. I do feel, however, that's the systems been in place for too long, and it'll just cause a ruckus and mass confusion if it's altered to heavily. oblivionsbane 714 Share Posted August 11, 2014 1. Technically, although 2 weeks = Roughly one Earth year. 2. I heard somewhere it was fifty years.. 3. Probably a few months, maybe a year. Most ships could cross the Atlantic in that time. 4. Wait for one of the people I see viewing this thread like Freya to respond I spose.

Jistuma 1996 Share Posted August 11, 2014 So Right now it's 1 seed per day, 7 seeds in a year, and if you check the wiki, it's updated. 1st: Currently an IC year is 1 IRL week, 7 IRL days So, 10 years passed, through the calendar plugin at least, from the end of the Fringe to Thales. This does not mean it has to be roleplayed thought, nor do the players have to age their character. This was then removed by Sporadic and the time passed was pulled back to 0 years. 2nd: 10 years were added to the current date from Fringe to Thales, but then the change was removed. No time passed from the Fringe to Thales. As for the third question, there is no answer yet. 3rd: No idea yet. Last question is probably a yes, but that is based on what Sporadic does. He made it 1 week because of the seasons adding in with the calendar, making them add as one month per day work fairly easier than 2 days per month. 4th: Probably yes.
