[Guide] Help With Personas And /me Menu

Welcome to Lord of the Craft. This guide will speak to you about the nexus plugin involving personas and the help system. This guide will hopefully get you a quick start into our world and easily handling some of the features you will find within the realm. We do warn you, this guide is full of pictures and text.

-+- Setting Up Your Persona -+-

When entering the server you will be met with an inability to move and bright yellow text, which may be confusing at first. This stage it is simply asking for your soon to be characters name. In this case we will be using Jade.

Soon after this stage you will be met with some pretty basic questions; the first being the gender of your character be it male, female, or other. In this stage, the gender is case sensitive, however if you scroll your mouse over top of the gender you can simply click it and that will register it as your character’s gender.

Next it is time for the best part! Choosing your character’s race. What you see here is a basic idea of the races.

If you wish to delve further into your character type in chat “more” to pull up the subraces of each race! It will look something like this.

Once you have chosen a race it is time to decide your character’s age (due keep in mind you can’t play a character less than 5). Simply type in char your character’s age and you will be on to the final step.

The final step is an easy one. It is asking if you want your character to age automatically. You /don’t/ have to autoage. If you wish to auto age type “Yes” and if not type “No”.

If you chose yes, then your character will automatically age a year for every in-game year. Which I believe was decided at every one/two weeks.

Now once this has been completed and to know you are good to go on your way you should get a notification that looks similar to:

After having set your persona and preparing yourself for the world there are a few commands that you should know so you may edit it as you go.

/persona view {mc name} :: This command allows you to see the persona of another player.

/persona name {new name} | /setname {new name} :: This allows you to change the name of your character once every 30 minutes.

/persona prefix {prefix} :: This allows you to set your prefix such as Child, Injured, unconscious, ect.

/persona clearprefix :: This will clear your current prefix.

/persona age {age #} | /setage :: This changes the age of your character. You can’t age backwards unfortunately.

/persona autoage :: Turn autoage on. You can’t turn it off once it is set.

/persona addbio | /setinfo :: Allows you to add a brief description of your character to your card.

/persona clearbio :: Clears the bio on your character card.

-+- The Nexus Menu -+-

First to enter the nexus menu you enter a simply command in chat of “/me” without the quotation marks. Once this is done you will be put into a menu like so.

-+- Bugs -+-

Filing a bug report in game not only helps the techs know what time a bug was but also what it pertains to.

As you can see there are a few sections to look at here. Let’s start with the left hand side which is “File Bug Report” which looks like so.

Once you click on it will be broken down to specifics types of bugs which are listed here:

All of these are self explanatory. You simply click on the bug you are having an issue with and type in what the issue seems to be. Press enter and the bug has been submitted. Each one of these little buttons leads to a submenu to help you through your persona and several other nexus related items.

-+- Settings -+-

This button will take you through various settings inside your Nexus menu. These settings all involve your nexus crafting which will be further discussed later.

This one toggles whether or not you want to see all the recipes you can currently craft or will be able to craft. By default it is on. If you wish to toggle it off, right click it and it will be toggled off.

This will toggle whether or not you want a confirmation on the crafting. Only crafting with timers are affected by this toggle.

The folders is to organize all of your types of items that can be made in any crafting table. These folders, in the crafting table are denoted by chests (this will be further discussed later). If you wish to remove this organization in your crafting area simply right click it and you will see all of the recipes jumbled into one area.

This will take you through various settings on your persona as well as your personal inventory.

The ender eye toggles whether or not you see the XP counting down

The book will take you through the help menu. (Check the below spoiler for those images)

The enderchest is for the higher VIPs to save items that are detrimental to their character.

The enchanting book will take you through the tomes to learn any of the various skills.

The repeater will show you how many persona’s you can have for that account. VIPs get more personas.

The steve heads are your current personas. These will have your name age and race.

The white skull is an empty persona. When it turns to wither it means your personas have reached a maximum number.

This one allows you to toggle an ingame menu from your inventory. Its a small sheet of paper that will appear in your hotbar.

-+- The Help Menu -+-

Doing /help will bring up a list of help topics. These will help you much through your journey, however, there is another way. Do /helpmenu to bring up this. Each button will give you information.
