A Few Very Basic Questions

Hey all!

 

I haven't played LoTC for a while but lately I got interested in playing again. However, I do have a few questions.

 

1: Do I need to make a new character application in order to join the server again?

 

2: Regarding VA's: Is this system still in use? I cannot find the forum section for it. My old character used to hold multiple VA's so I am curious how this works now there is a new realm.

 

3: Rules. The rules look alot more simplified now. For example, I cannot find the rules regarding horses (breeding and stealing horses, etc) back anymore. What happened to all these rules?

1. The Pumpkin Druid summed it up quite well.

2. Villain Applications have been removed, you may do any evil that was in the application without requiring anything. Though there several new rules that have been added to regulate this (mostly old VA rules.)

3. To my understanding, horse stealing is technically permitted due to it not being in the rules, but I believe due to one of our plugins, it makes horses much harder to steal.

Mechanical standard; If you can steal it, you can steal it. At least o they wrote, if they made a mistake regarding horses (and general stealing) make a mod-req if you find a lonely horse as following; "Gotta steal di horse, pl0x help."

Huh, it appears the villain rules (mainly regarding stealing) have changed then, I'll bring it up with the admins as soon as I can to get a definite answer.
