Lima 774 Share Posted November 13, 2014 Name says it all. Dwarves have a large number of families that all recieve numerous applications and so forth every day. These can not be codified into one post and thus would require about 8 active pinned threads at once. This megathread concept is not applicable to our society. We also have guilds and we have holds, together they make something worthy of a sub-forum. I mean, I am honestly against the removal of the sub-forums because now the forums look like a absolute mess, so may we please clean up the dwarven Roleplay board and get our sub-forums back, I am sure many other people feel the same for their own respective races.
Birdwhisperer 1174 Share Posted November 13, 2014 [[You wouldn't have to write out all the information of every clan or guild thread into one megathread, simply have a directory of links, like this: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/118956-important-wood-elven-threads/ I do think having subforums would make things simpler, but if they're not returned there are still ways to work with this. If you need any help with pinning, moving, or finding threads you can message me or another FM.

James 425 Share Posted November 14, 2014 We do need Sub-Forums back, the mega-thread is just clutter and with all the guilds and clans mix-mashing with the roleplay threads. People wanting to apply to a clan won't be able to find a thread until the issue is addressed or we get a topic with a link to every UPDATED clan thread put in. For now it's making our home look like a mess (forum home). This is ridiculous, even if we had one pinned thread, the applied to clan threads would clutter the Dwarven Roleplay section, hiding any role-play threads. River 555 Share Posted November 14, 2014 +1 Just why, it makes joining other guilds less likely since we can all see, and all know there are two mega clans at the moment. Either Clan RP blocks the dwarven RP posts, the future Guild posts block clan AND RP posts (Which they will once they get launched.) or one way or the other, aspects of dwarven RP will be blocked off from people because of the simple fact that if it isn't on the front page, it isn't as important, especially when multiple aspects of the dwarven forums are longstanding posts that need to be around for months on end. It was completely organized, and logical the way it was before, and now it's clusterfu***d.
TEEbrown 348 Share Posted November 14, 2014 I don't understand the reason for it's removal. If no one has a good reason why it was removed, I suggest putting everything back the way it was.
