History

 

Harold was born on 1466 of Sun’s Smile at the Clerical Temple of the Fringe. He was the first of the Triplets to be born, or at least to his knowledge he was. He was born to Mia de Silvarois and William Vekon; Who later took the name of de Silvarois as well. His father was a genius healer, who processed the clerical ability of healing which he mastered and healed for 20 years before his early death at the age of 38.  

 

Mia died shortly after childbirth, due to a disagreement between her, William, Lenia and the Cleric Mandru, a vengeful sword from Lenia caused her death. The argument was sparked between William and Mia after Mia wanted to cut herself and William and then mix their blood with that of the triplets.  William hated the de Silvarois bloody and savage traditions and wouldn’t allow the same to happen to his children. Mandru and Lenia joined in supporting William, and when Mia spoke ill words, Mandru ordered her death, which Lenia delivered.

 

Mia’s death took a large toll on William, he didn’t leave his house in nearly 4 years due to the murder, But Lenia worked her way into William’s mind tricking him into forgiving her. William took care for his three children the best he could, Lenia taking place as their Wetnurse. Harold was raised to be honorable, just, and caring of others; during his childhood he was taught how to read, write and the various histories of the world. Harold took a liking to the history of knights and maiden’s fair, after reading the story of Ser Lancel many times he wished to follow his footsteps, to which William taught him about the code of Chivalry.

 

Harold was without a mother for nearly 8 years before Mia came wandering back into the temple without any memory of what happened; William was later taught of her life as a street wander and slave. Mia later started to recover her last memories, and embraced her children back. Sadly a few years later, Harold at the age of 10 lost his father William to a sickness which easily took over his weakened body from years of Clerical healing.

 

Now four years later, after the ghost Jemeriah di Silvari appearing to Harold and urging him to follow his dreams and run away from his protecting mother, Harold took this advice to heart and ran away joining the Order of the Red Dragon as a squire under Ser Martial Briarwood, who has since trained him to the best that he can be.

 

And yet, two years later his training keep going, His loyalty was truly tested as Maric became Storm King Maric; and raised his banners in open rebellion with the crown of Oren. His decision took little thought, tho the pardon was tempting at first, but the loyality that his men held and the promises the king made; made the choice much quicker, and with that Harold became a traitor to the realm of Oren.

 

As he went on, learning the politics of the realm; He soon met with Alexander Valois, who pledged to regather the Auverigan people and teach Harold more of his culture. Harold soon came to gain a huge respect for this man, who would later become his mentor.

Harold’s Coat of Arms is the sigil of 3 lions, each with golden fur. This is made to be the symbol of his 2 siblings and a personal reminder of his family. The Gold is made as a reminder to his di Silvari roots and there traditions and traits; but also as a symbol of bravery and valor.
