Petrus Wants You

The Merchant City of Petrus is looking for merchants to fill its shops and stalls with your goods. Early applicants are eligible to receive discounted store space and other perks. Trade guilds or trading companies are also encouraged to establish locations or even a base of operation in the city out of the many available buildings currently listed.

Petrus also needs people who are able to work, be it in the mines or in the wheat fields. Basic housing may be provided to those who agree to work for the city as well as the basics of living essentials provided by the city government. You'd not only be able to keep a portion of your toiled goods for yourself but you would also be contributing to a larger cause and providing for your fellow citizens; a truly noble pursuit.

At last, Pestrus officials are interested in establishing trade routes and various supply lines with any and all who have the goods we need. Please contact a Captain of The Hounds based in the city for further details.

If any of the above applies to you, feel free to leave behind contact information and even propositions on this listing. Otherwise, you may contact Captain Volker personally via messenger or bird carrier. He can also be found in various postings in Petrus, most often at the Real Estate Office immediately right as you enter the front gates.

A group of humans watch the half-heighted figure's insanity from a distance as it cackles and speaks to an inanimate piece of paper. A short duration later, several guardsmen approach the figure, "Spewing outright lies unto the street and insanity? This not only justifies our response of 'wait on our liege lord's decision,' it now presents the ideal that you are not mentally fit to function within the city without being a threat to citizens. What was once a wait and we shall return to you with response is only now an outright 'no.' G'd Day, stout."

Ben Avice stumbles upon the note and writes a response and mails it off,

"I, Ben Avice, would like to start a merchant's guild. Knowing that many have tried in the past to make such, I assure you I will be able to manage such an operation. I have much previous experience in trade. I'd like to help fuel the trade runs, hire merchants & salesmen, and also manage a location for laborers to be payed for their efforts."
