Is Menarra qualified for this position? To portray the question in another manner - does he write lore? Has he written lore? Has Menarra contributed to the server's lore-basis with good work and effort to earn his position (as others have had, though with no attention from the lore team; a disappointing aspect, as many think.)

This, and not to mention out of all the people you could have picked for this position out of both the GM team and LM you pick one of the least active people. With him being added it also not help the fact of the admin team just being a group of friends(Other then Cappy, Cappy is okay).  He was added to the LM team two weeks ago not to mention he is friends with both Risty and Ura for a very long time and was removed from the GM team for spawning things in. As well I have not seen any lore come out of this person in my time on this server, as a GM he does not do much but sit in gray haven and sometimes answer modreqs when they are on. Why couldn't you give this position to someone who will actually help the server instead of just "Eh, maybe this will work" Once I see some actual work come out of this person I might be okay with the fact that they were given this position instead of other way more capable people. Then again my opinion doesn't really matter and I'm just a random ET.

I couldn't agree more. Disappointing to see such a lofty position in our community granted to someone who has written little to warrant it. I understand admins having an innate preference for friends and figures they trust, but its getting a bit ridiculous how many talented members of our community are being overlooked.

I don't think the spawning thing in part is accurate. Nor is the 'sitting in gray haven' bit. Menarra plays an Archdruid and is fairly active in the Druid community, as well as a few other characters that can be seen around. Perhaps you just haven't been on when Menarra/dago has been on? Because if we're solely looking through the eyes of one, I haven't seen you in-game recently, nor take part in any ET event. I could probably point a finger and say you got your position by being buddies with Heero and a few others, but that wouldn't be nice, would it? :)

 

That being said, I support Menarra for the admin position, but I haven't seen any lore come from this person (at least, not recently unless they put it under a different account?). So I'm in agreement with the others on being hesitant to suddenly replace Rittsy with Menarra.

I'm not jumping the gun, Mog did indeed remove him for spawning things in. And you may know his writings but there is nothing on the forums that proves he can write lore good enough for the server. But you have your opinion and I have mine.
