Why do you want to be a builder for the ET?  

I can build most styles most things from natural to all cultures and nations not a care. I am proficient with craftbook and redstone and basically I will do what you want me to do if you let me pretty up the natural areas I think are ugly (obvs with GM permission). Basically the images below are just a taste, I’m not going to build something just for the sake of this app then never use it, everything I build is unique and has a purpose, look at builds in Werdenberg, I bet you ain't seen a gatehouse like that. Basically I am offering my help and will make the place a nice looking place if you would allow me.

 

Also to note, I did work with Senda, Rusty and Dandan on 4.0 Human lands, helped make the clerical manor, can build messy medevil in styles from slums and very messy to the nice bright of Werdenberg. I can W/E to a good standard (stuff in this app does not really do justice sadly). I wrote the guide on Craftbook Areas. I can build High fantasy giant trees, avalon style builds, Woodelf builds, orcish and dwarf style builds, High Imperial builds, evil builds and many custom tree designs. I build alot basically and can do alot more than anything. My activity is overactive, which I belive serves all positions of importance on this server from Staff to RP leaders(if your leadership is inactive no one is creating RP). Give me a challenge and I will take it head on and in the and produce a decent desing.

Please provide an example of a High fantasy build:

Don’t really like building high fantasy (don’t usually like the people they are for) but here is some work I did for uncle moo with the Patu, dandan and rusty. Yes and yes

How long does it take for you to complete a build?

Depends how good the concept is and whether the idea is a boring unimaginative pile of crap. If good in concept and a nice idea then can be done quickly (I don’t think a timescale can be put on genuine unique inspiration) Although I would say small build are like 30 min to an hour, ‘medium’ depending on what you mean by that could be a day then a week or so for large projects.

Tell us how you plan on constructing a large build, a medium build, and a small build.

Look at the concept, get inspiration and ideas just pop into my head, If I know what I want then ill do it different every time but the result could be the same (a high quality build). Small builds I can come up with in a second, medium take some thinking and many small adjustments before done. Large builds if it is not exactly clear what I want then it can screw up but with enough planning and playing around with foundations and outlines I can get a clear image then have just some tinkering at the end.

Additional details (Do you know how to Voxel? World Edit? Craftbook? Etc...): I made the guide on craftbook areas and I know my way round worldedit (also to note, was using craftbook areas before there was anything other than the wiki)

Tell me a trick about building (eg: floating torches, custom heads) You can google building tricks

Tell me what you want from the ET.

Fly because doing roofs are my bane, god because mobs are my bane and vanish/ disguise because other players RP’ing with me while on a roll is my bane. Just joking I want something to do and to make unique builds that make people go “Wow!”

Can you show some builds in the default texture pack? I must say your treasured build is very excellent, but the interior work is a bit bland. Nevertheless I will give you a +1, good work.

Known Ricky for a good while, over the time we've built countless projects and he's only improved and kept on improving. Definately fit for ET builder. Dedicated beyond all belief to his builds, nearly nothing comes first besides beer.

the only issue I can see in your builds is quite a few of the interiors lack texture: just flat one-material surfaces. do you think this is something you can fix?

well definitely looks ET material, kind of. Seem very good at making buildings and city-related builds, seem to be a good addition to a prebuild team for a new map if there'd ever be one, just don't realistically see the need for those kinds of builds used by ET on the server this very moment.

 

Though, I will commend you for being a good builder.
