The Envoy

For many moons, the worshipers of Malikith walked the realm of Athera in haste, many had thought it perhaps simply the short-sightedness of the clerics that led to their sudden shift in power. However, it was not to be so, the adherents of Aerk'iath's will had long wandered the lands with no respite, their blackened, almost hazy forms cloaked in the red mists of their arcane ally.

The normal Atherans believed the intricate spells weaved by the master illusionist's hands.

 

With this hearing, it was known that they sought sympathizers for their cause, the wrathful, seeing eyes of the Cynii war-god Aerk'iath. The All-Seeing Eye had long guided them along, alongside each other as colleagues, brothers, sisters, and friends. Many scientific discoveries they made were heavily relied on now, things they had learned from those they referred to simply as Tahare'mur.

In the lands of the Cynii, far outside the expanses and plains of Laureh'lin, Urguan, Oren, and all other kingdoms, the people awaited their leader's speech, one long in the process of creation. It was long in the coming, the harbinger of the Eye's will was speaking.

 

Kaegaz'arai simply rose his hands upwards, as the chatter of the Acerbus' had now lain dormant. In his always dissatisfied tone, the envoy of Aerk'iath's will on the mortal plane, the long dormant spell-weaver made his speech to his followers.

"No longer do we worry of being struck with a dagger between the shoulders by the heretical orders of light and dark, I declare a reconstituted Ciin Tain. We need not worry who casts and who does not, we are all Cynii, we are all Acerbus, we are all the true inheritors of this earth. To the crowd's almost apparent dismay, the leader spoke.

 

"All who serve the viper will share the same rights to housing and armor as the Shamans, the Reconstituted Ciin Tain are equal in brotherhood as they are in arms, let us wreak havoc on our foes further into the future with a deep rooted haste, through equality and perseverance, not superiority and malevolence.

 

"They who shed no tears for the harmed, the discontented minorities, and their lessened wish for peace.. let us rejoice in our knowledge that we will prevail against these unfavorable odds, and destroy the hordes that seek to annihilate us.”

The Seer lowered his hands, as the red mist woven around the congregated group of Acer ceased. “Let it be known that to be a traitor, means not death, but an eternity locked beyond the gate. The Omnipotent Eye guide us, praise to Aerk’iath and the gods that formed us out of clay, whilst these other creatures were made of our waste and dust. Kael’ern tahrn.”

Selrik halts in place, closing his eyes and listening intently to Kaegaz'arai's speech, muttering.

Ignis'Priscis stands silently a midst the ranks of the present Acerbus, head lowered as she listens intently to what is said. As Kaegaz'arai finishes she opens her eyes, looking up to him and speaking in tune with Selrik.
