And we’re back with the second weekly report for Leuvaarden! We hope to continue with these weekly recaps to keep everyone informed. During the past week we’ve managed to place high on the /regionstats board; 2nd on the Most Populous and 4th on the Most Lively!

 

Warclaim Success:

The armies of Savoy marched with those of Haelun’or to defeat the wood elves and dwarves in battle! We had a decent show of forces and all the fighters from the Order got some excellent loot. Enlist in the order today to get involved with such exploits in the future.

Leuvaarden Port:

The city has recently had an influx of new ships within the docks, all primed and ready to go out sailing, fishing, or trading. If anyone is interested in getting involved with some active sailing roleplay be sure to check out the Rainy Pond Fisherman Guild who have some excellent events to do with sailing.

Festival of Owyn:

Sadly, the festival of Owyn and its ensuing hunt had to been delayed to next week for administrative reasons. Updates are to follow shortly.

 

Lord Steward:

The council position of Lord Steward is available. Any who are interested in attaining this rank would do well to seek an audience with the Count Guy de Bar. The primary duties that accompany such a position involve managing the economy of the town by overseeing taxation and property exchange.

 

Stables:

Stables are to be constructed soon! If anyone is interested in selling or breeding horses and assisting with upcoming tourneys and hunts, be sure to contact an official!

 

New Honorary Titles:

With the inclusion of several new honorary titles into the city we are pleased to announce that several esteemed members of the city are being awarded them.

High Almoner: Damein Garnett Ro’Dair (Halomanter12)

Seneschal: Caspar de Gueux (jonhan2)

 

Mass:

Some of Leuvaarden’s faithful congregated for a mass this past saint’s day. It was presided over by the Bishop of Savoy who stressed the importance of spreading the faith.
