So the server is having a bit of problems with forests getting up, moving forward, and consuming everything on their march to consume Haelun'or.

 

Due to this unexpected invasion of trees we might be down overnight, although nothing is certain.

 

Fret not however, for many backups exist and you might experience only small rollback to earlier within the day. (if, perhaps, sometime tomorrow morning.)

 

EDIT: Kowaman - Expect a 12 hour rollback - server will be up sometime tonight.

I FINISHED MY TOWN LITERALLY RIGHT BEFORE THE SERVER CRASHED. I PLACED THE LAST BLOCK. I HAVE BEEN UP FOR 48 HOURS BUILDING AND YOURE SAYING I LOST 12 HOURS OF IT.

Hey guys, it's alright to be a little upset, but world edit mistakes happen even if you're super experienced and know what you're doing. Likewise, the server only saves every so often. I'm sure the staff will do their best to restore the most things they possibly can, but if that negatively affects you, please make the best of it. These problems will always happen every few months, and they will always screw over a few of us profoundly more than the rest. Learn to make the best of it and remember that in a week or so this won't be meaningful in any way.
