Inability To Join Lotc Server.

For some reason I cannot join the server, I am/should still be whitelisted and whatnot and I've played before. All other servers for me work.

 

When I try to join LotC I get a message saying there is a java exception and an inability to connect: no other information.

 

I've tried restarting my internet, restarting MC.

 

Please help.

Yeah bud, I've been trying to use 1.7.10 as well as a few other versions.

 

Alas still no luck, I've got an inclination that this might be server side because all my other servers work. Then again, everyone but myself seems to be having no problems so perhaps it is client side. Either way I would very much like to play now.

Have you tried direct connecting?  That tends to work

Try these IPs, see what works;

 

mc.lotc.co

ts.lotc.co

mc1.lordofthecraft.net

mc.lordofthecraft.net

m2.lordofthecraft.net

 

If not, maybe try a VPN or getting a new IP by calling you ISP?

mc.lotc.co gave me the error.

ts.lotc.co said I needed to update to 1.8

mc1 just timed out after a bit.

mc.lord gave me the error.

m2 did the same as m1.

 

Update: ts.lotc.co says I'm not whitelisted.

Well if it's just LOTC, do you have any modifications on your client for minecraft or tried re-installing the game entirely?

No mods for minecraft and I've reinstalled the game once already.

We're just trying to rake our brains for a fix. Because either your issue is unique or something on your end is messed up. Maybe system restore to a time when you could join the server?

 

Try direct connect.

 

Try disabling any of your firewalls (including windows firewall)

 

Try using a VPN maybe

Tried Direct connect, I would gladly try the actual numerical IP if someone gave it to me.

 

Firewall hasn't changed since when I could login.

 

Neither has my location so I'm not really sure what a VPN would do...
