[!] Fjordin stepped into Sylverport, the refreshing sea breeze blowing off the waves and swiping at his cloak. He made his way into The Cove, and retired his adventurers attire for a proper set of chainmail. He was making a mere trip into the pasture to call upon his townies, and address the latest inclusion to his towns planned constructs, when a disturbing sight revealed itself to him: quarrel between his citizens, and a dirty bandit brandishing a heavy ferrum sword... [!]

- Mira, his faithful and committed lumberjack, would have brandished her worn felling axe as a first line of defense. Gritting her teeth, she charged forward and swung feverishly to penetrate the mans chainmail. Though initially fruitless, and suffering multiple light punctures to her torso, she cleaved straight into the mans gut, forcing him to recoil. Fjordin's friend Cealum, who was first to fall victim, tried to circle the man and attack from behind with a dagger whilst he was weak, only to fail to his reflexes -

"What is the meaning of this nonsense? Will somebody please explain to me why this poor man is being assaulted?Asked a monotone Fjordin, now reaching for the hilt of his greatsword which he prepared to brandish under the glaring sunset.

- Before he could get an answer, the bandit broke off his people, staggering deeper into the Mesa and skirting the worn coast. Just as Cealum and Fjordin were to charge, Mira was reimbursed with a shot of adrenaline, causing her to charge after him and eventually bring him down as he left the city limits. Fjordin followed, but as he ripped the greatsword from his hilt, which made a sickening scrape as it dragged against the hardened clay, she stopped him -

"This is my fight, Fjordin! You and Cealum will stay back until I'm done having my way...She spoke, angrily bashing him against the ground and throwing fists into whatever regions his coif didn't cover.

- The bandit was much too powerful, and noticing Fjordin encircle him with Cealum, backed up into the steeper banks of the Mesa. He practically held Mira in front of him as a shield, whilst Fjordin nocked an arrow and aimed it for the mans face -

"Mali'ame hardly miss." Muttered Fjordin, prepared to take the risk and shoot his adversary.

- However, Cealum acted early and charged forward, triggering a reaction of flight from the bandit and misguiding the shot into his leg. Mira, gravely wounded, began crawling back home to seek aid. Fjordin now stood before the man, drawing another arrow from his quiver -

"I'll be back in force, and you'll regret ever having retaliated!" spat the man, confident in his ability to get away.

- Fjordin would move forward slowly, raising his bow and preparing to fire yet another shot. Cealum prepared his measly hatchet and dagger, waiting for the mark to move in on the man. His eyes darted between the two, but finally his fear was replaced by anger, as he pulled free from his belt a carbarum axe. On his back was a seemingly glowing shortbow, blessed by some form of sorcery. He smirked, glaring into Fjordin's eyes. Fjordin however would continue marching -

"First you assault my people, and now you threaten our very existance. Our future. Our legacy." he said aggressively, standing in a defensive position just yards from the man with yet another arrow drawn. "I am afraid I cannot let that happen. You must be pacified."

- From that moment on the countdown began, and within seconds the opposing forces: man and militia, and hardened bandit, were long at war. Cealum landed a fair few blows with his hatchet, but failed to do so much as serrate the links. Fjordin would draw arrows instinctively, as he always honed his archery during hunts or practice. Never before was he in the heat of battle, and right now his life depended on it. After plunging five shots into the mans torso, he ran forward and performed a rather acrobatic leap over the hillside, piercing the man just above his heart. Fjordin would step forward, kneeling before the man and pulling free a carefully crafted dagger, an unfamiliar insanity cast across his eyes -

"We will not tolerate scum like you, and I will not tolerate such threats that are now little more than idle. You fought valiantly, but we cannot bestow the luxury of mercy, for you shall return in force." he spoke, sliding the daggers point just under the mans chin before plunging it deep into his neck.

- Fjordin would sigh, going to help Cealum and patch his more grievous wounds, but not before looting the body -

"You fought well, and had it not been for your aid the odds would surely be stacked against me. I thank you, Mali'ame." spoke Fjordin, patting the man on the back and turning towards the scene once Cealum fades into the horizon, smiling as that particular insanity flashes upon his eyes as he licks blood from the dagger with a smirk.

"My first blood. So bitter-sweet." He would say, sheathing it appropriately and returning home as nothing more than a hero.

[!] OOCly, this was modified in structure to recreate the events of the story, but also expand upon details that could not actually be spared. The Katniss shot in PvP was actually legit, and so was this 'first blood', referring to Fjordin's first kill on the server. Time will tell as to how this new obsession controls him, or if he's capable of staying on the path to greatness [!]

Edit :

Half the fight took place as RP, but being unfamiliar with Combat RP and not having enough experience, me and the bandit agreed to turning it mechanical for the second half, which is where the kill was performed and the 'katniss shot' pulled. The dagger section was an action where I killed him on the ground.

Extra Edit (Because I'm Paranoid) :

I wasn't sure where to post this, since it was supposed to describe character development in my persona after a RP action, and it is not a character profile per say. Not a story that I wrote in character, but rather a narrative of the event which occured. For this reason I figured the Roleplay section most appropriate, but if a staff member would like to correct this please do so by dropping a comment and relocating it so I know for future reference.

The Remnant of Aerk'iath upon hearing of this, his lips widens into a sickening smirk. "And so they continue to create their own chaos."
