Message To All Goldhands

Parchments begin to spread out across the land via poor street Halflings, some being handed out to strangers and others to the bottoms of notice boards, even some attached to an Olog's back as part of a poor Halfling joke. Those that do look upon the parchments, would be able to read,

 

"To all Goldhands,

 

Hello, my brothers and sisters, it has come to my attention that we are not as united that I thought we were. I have been gone for quite some time, and have returned to this sorry state that we are in. It appears to me, we have no active standing Clan Father or Elder, and many have talked about how all the Goldhands have gone and left. We also do not have one of our most crowning achievements, the Goldhand Trading Company. I am saddened by these events, and wish to take up where my father, Thoak Goldhand, left off. I wish to bring us back from this pitiful state, and have us rise once again, though, slowly. Lucky for us all, I remember our traditions as a clan, which include the Coining Ceremony, along with the Blood-Bonding of those who wish to join our noble clan. I am also in the process of reviving our trading company.

 

Remember, my family, we shall always have the coin to guide us, along with the merchant brothers.

If you are still out there, post your names under wherever you found this partchment, for the poor Halflings who are spreading the word, shall be checking in periodically.
