Were it a larger map with oceans and multiple continents and such, I'd be all for it. Athera is more like a really big island so this kind of stuff isn't needed...

Yet.

I agree here, if there was more land that'd be one thing so that we could use these boats to centralize RP but sadly there isnt. Still good idea though.

When we get larger land, I believe this could be a great thing to have. Perhaps you would have to pay a small price for boat travel?

There was a time in aegis where there was fast travel through some boats where it costed 150 minas to ride. Though I DO NOT want the boats back from aegis... I just remember getting stuck so often inside of them -.- Other than that I agree to place a fee on them is a good idea.
