EFFECTUAL LAWS

In accordance with the declaration of Martial Law, the following laws are now in effect. They supercede both Orenic and Silver State laws, and must be obeyed by all denizens in the province of Fiandria.

 

  1. All soldiers designated as Military Personnel will be obeyed at all times. Any disobedience will be met with swift disciplinary action.

  2. A civilian curfew will be instated to ensure the cooperation and assurance of safety for the denizens of the City of Haelun’or. Curfew occurs from sunset to sunrise.

  3. Private property, so long as Martial Law is in effect, is determined at the discretion of Military Personnel.

  4. Any civilian or otherwise in the City of Haelun’or will be subject to random questioning by Military Personnel.

  5. Any civilian or otherwise under the suspicion of sedition or rebellion will be subject to sensitive interrogation by Military Personnel.

  6. The possession of weapons, unless otherwise explicitly approved by Military Personnel (by official permit) are forbidden.

  7. The harboring of fugitives in any capacity is strictly forbidden. Those found aiding fugitives will be subject to summary execution and all their possessions confiscated by Military Personnel.

  8. The possession of flammable or explosive material is strictly forbidden. Special permits may be approved by select Military Personnel.

  9. The use of Elven language addressing any Military Personnel is strictly forbidden. Failure to comply will be met with disciplinary action.

  10. The gathering of three or more individuals is considered potentially seditious. The entire gathering will be detained for further sensitive interrogation.

 

The Fugitive List

These civilians are hereby declared as fugitives. Any sighting of them must be reported to Military Personnel, and any attempt to harbor or otherwise aid these fugitives will be met with the swift and decisive hand of the Governor General and his subordinates. The current fugitives are:

The Rights and Responsibilities of Military Personnel

As a member of the Military Personnel of the Protectorate of Haelun’or, you are given certain duties, rights and responsibilities to assure the protection and cooperation of the civilian populace.

 

A member of the Military Personnel is awarded these Rights:

  • The Right to administer disciplinary action on a non-compliant civilian based on the effectual laws of the Protectorate of Haelun’or.

  • The Right to defend yourself against an aggressive civilian.

  • The Right to a garrison bunk and trunk to quarter in the City.

  • The Right to question any civilian that is deemed suspicious, seditious or otherwise rebellious.

 

A member of the Military Personnel is entrusted with these responsibilities:

  • The Responsibility to ensure the safety of compliant and cooperative citizens.

  • The Responsibility to maintain law and order in accordance with the effectual laws.

  • The Responsibility to protect the innocent civilians of the City from seditious or rebellious persons.

  • The Responsibility to obey all orders given by the chain of command. Failure to comply with orders will be considered insubordination and aiding the rebellion.

  • The Responsibility to treat all chain of command with the proper respect and address deserving of their rank.

 

A Personnel Officer is awarded these special rights as befitting to their rank:

  • The Right to determine the severity of disciplinary action upon a malcompliant civilian.

  • The Right to demand authority among both the Military Police subordinates and the civilian populace.

  • The Right to administer disciplinary action upon insubordinate personnel.
