How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I was searching for an original server (not factions, mini games, etc.) and I love RPG/Roleplay so this caught my eye.

What is roleplaying?: Role playing is basically playing a role, it's pretending to be someone you're not for fun and enjoyment. 

What is metagaming?: Using resources that aren't in the game (such as "OOC") to your advantage. This ruins the whole purpose of roleplaying

 

What is powergaming?: Power gaming is abusing the roleplaying system and  making decisions where another player doesn't have the possibility of a choice

 

In-Character Information

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Tason was a troubled boy from birth, growing up with only a mother is tough for any child. Tason's father was murdered by a fjarriauga while out hunting, many men died. Tason comes from a small village in the woods known by few. Tason's mother was the villages  cook before the fjarriauga attack, many of the women had to become hunters/gatherers to pickup the slack, she was one of these women, and excelled at it immensely. She would share her knowledge and stories of hunts with her son, occasionally bringing home books for him to read, books on monsters, where they are located and such. She taught Tason how to properly hunt an Adrallan Crane. She said "Always hide in tall grass, wait for the herd to settle, and pick out the biggest one." Tason enjoyed the stories of his mothers hunting, but he had different ideas for his life. He began reading on alchemy, he read on the symbols: fire, water, earth, and air. He read the history of alchemist striving to reach maximum skill, and the desire to create life itself. When he became of age his mother asked him to hunt to provide for the village, and so he did. His mother trained him with a bow, and a sword if needed. Tarson became an excellent shot with a bow, and began hunting for sport rather than for necessity. He was looking for anything to kill. Tason heard a rustle and turned around to see an Amber Wolf snarling directly behind him. He went to unsheathe his blade but wasn't quick enough. The Amber Wolf struck him with his unhinged claws across his right face, damaging his eye. An arrow whizzed by and struck the Amber Wolf killing it. Tason's mother walks up, helped Tason up and walked him back to camp. "He won't lose sight, but it sure won't be good." said the village doctor. Tason vowed to never hunt for sport again.

 

Tason was reaching the age of 19. Many years of hunting, gathering have left him strong. Tason's mother grows weaker and weaker by the days, but she is still tough as ever. Tason went on a hunt, finding spears easier to use due to his eye. He see's a kestrel, right before leaping a loud scream stops him. "That came from the village." Tason thought. Tason took off towards the village at an inhumane pace only achievable by someone filled with fear. A man is standing in the middle of the village holding a small child with a knife to her throat. "I will even out the wrongs of this village." says the man. "It's a Hook" said one of the villagers. Tason see's a flash out of the corner of his left eye, a body tackles the man allowing the child to run free. The Hook quickly stabs the person then runs off. Tason runs over to assist the poor soul, only to see the person is his mother. Tason grabs her hand, tears forming in his eyes. "Live for both of us" Tason's mother said as she went limp. Tason saw a bright light, and instantly went unconscious. He felt something soft, "What is this?" Tason looked up to see an old man in robes standing on clouds. Tason realized he too was on a cloud. "Well What does the world have in store for you?" says the Monk.

 

 

Personality Traits: Tason is fast learning, wise, a natural leader, and verybrave.

Ambitions: Tason's ambitions are to become a respected alchemist

Strengths/Talents: Tason is fast and decisive, he is good at bartering and has an amazing memory.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Tason misjudges his situations sometimes and it lands him into trouble, Tason has a bad right eye making him a horrible shot with a bow. Tason also hates water, he hates being wet, and often gets seasick.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Tason is 6' 2" and weighs 185 pounds, he is lean and very quick.
