Hi! 

I'm off very little information right now, but given what I have heard so don't blame me about such!

 

Moot and Rael were kicked from their respective positions with no explanation. Considering they did a lot of work on Vailor and were generally good GM/Admin and team leaders people flipped **** and blamed corruption between Tythus, Menarra and Kowaman.
Tythus released the reasons why they removed but the community thought they were **** reasons and Rael and Moot themselves said in TS that it was wrong. Many GM's also agreed that it was a dumb decision.
Tythus eventually gave in, realizing that it was a decision made in anger and he was only pulling at straws for a reason to kick Moot and Rael from the team.
Apparently the reason Tythus wanted them kicked is because Moot wrote out like a paragraph on Skype about how useless of an admin Menarra was and how he didn't do anything, saying she shouldn't be on the team. Rael obviously agreed

 

 

 

Now, that aside i'd like to put my opinion in on this, and request you all do the same! not that I wish to cause a storm more so, to allow Tythus to learn from what players think, over the **** storm which players have caused!

 

Once an admin commented about how he doesn't promote admins, he hires staff like a business would, now thinking about this, we the players are 'share-holders' in the LotC business, or so we'd wish it that way, but given without players there would be no staff, and with no staff there would be no server hey ho, lets think of this, that way!

This isn't an apology in my opinion, this is just something wrote in two minutes, with no sincerity or actual disgust in his own actions, this is simply to cover his own tracks and to allow players to see he has a 'Kind-hearted' side, 

 

Now I don't hide the fact that I hold a strong distrust for a large amount of the admin team, I'm happy to tell you why.

 

Three years ago, I was banned for being a toxic player, on the forums that is, my note for this was that I was to be banned for a week and then return, with this the admin teams to follow just held me in suspense to a point where I would not be unbanned for the following three years, none of them investigated, many of them said ''They had investigated and xxxxx player or admin had said this  or that'' adding to the total amount of time I have been banned for, I investigated myself after a short time and found xxxxx player had not said this, and xxxxx admin had not said they had banned me prior ( sometimes leading to me being 'permenantly banned and not able to return, due to 'being banned five times in the past because xxxx admin's said they had.'' 

 

With my new appeal I contacted rael, NOT to unban me or to check my report, but simply to unban this forum account so I can access my inbox so I may show proof against what had been said by admins in the past, 

 

Rael performed well, increadibly well, going beyond the call of duty by not unbanning my forum account from the start, but to investigate the forum account and further investigate the ban, concluding that I Was only suppose to be banned for a simple week, something he showed himself to be disgusted about how long I have waited, and why I have been banned for this long.

 

The admins had a go at rael, yes, something he happily took, asking if I wished to be put directly in game, ( which I wished to get whitelisted by posting an app but thats different, ) saying that he would get one of his team directly on it, and yes that team member even offered me a spot on his farm.

 

Moot was beside him in teamspeak, making me feel welcome,

Message me over teamspeak telling me that they didn't like the fact I was unbanned and that I should 'watch my back'  ( Yes, I will be speaking to tythus on this matter )  Something that has led me to keep away from LotC even after I became well, and finished my traveling.

 

 

My opinion is strongly one sided, yes, and to conclude:

 

I think the admins should be much nicer, as right now most of the team are acting like they are auditioning for GoT.

 

 

Post your opinions and how the admins can better themselves below! ( add past experiances ( no more then 1 month old however! ) also! )

 

 

On a side note, this is not me 'Outing several admins' its just me stating an opinion, and how or why It should change. feel free to disagree, but don't simply post 'Your stupid' post a rebuttle ending with 'you're stupid!'

Oh and to make a point, there has been absolutely NO DDOS from any player, at all,   No, really please learn what it means, 

 

And please note:

 

In america to threaten a DDOS attempt is a federal crime,

In england, it is also a large crime,

In all other countries to simply threaten a 'DDOS' is a crime as it breaches laws put in place since 2006

 

What is a DDOS?

 

Imagine, 15 fat men trying to cram through a door at once, completely blocking it and halting any movement in or out of the building, Convert this to its cyber equivalent of:  using many computers to flood the entrance to a -Website- or -Databank- ( not a router, ) of a business to further halt any movement of that company.

As far as i'm aware the players have been given their respective ranks back, yes but this is not been dealt with, to fully deal with something you must learn from your mistakes and make steps to ensure it doesn't happen again, this entitles change, something that hasn't happened!

I posted this thread because i've spoken to admins and game masters and some have said they will be leaving in a bit, it wasn't a matter of ''Admins are ************'' but a matter of ''Change is needed to keep the server running'' 

 

It is responses that this thread has seen being the reason why these admins are leaving, aswell as the issues with the command staff at present, 

 

I'm not afraid of having my modem hacked because I do have ways to track the 'hacking' computer, and with this I would infact have the players arrested because of my work, 

 

I love the server, and wish to see it change for the better, so feel free to comment about how much I should shut up, but when the server is dying because you players are calling admins 'snakes' then yes, be my guest, I'm leaving, yet staying for the nightfall thread -Only-
