Character Family Tree

 

 

 

 

 

The first person on the family tree is the Great, Great Grandfather of Aragorn his name is Algarin he was the greatest warrior of the family and still is. He fought in many battles against Orcs and such he is well known through the family for being the first of them to kill a troll with a uruks tusk, he was wandering through the forest collecting sticks and leaves for his home. He encountered a troll near him, Algarin observed the troll for a bit until he saw it going down the path towards his homestead. He withdrew his sword and ran out charging at the beast, he ferociously swiped at the trolls back. It turned around and grabbed him nearly swallowing him whole it put him closer towards his mouth rumour has it the troll put him inside the mouth. Algarin had to slice at the tounge until it spat him out onto the ground. The troll was too slow to catch Algarin. The troll had a uruk tusk as a weapon, the beast slammed his gigantic fist onto the ground causing Algarin to fall over and drop his sword from the impact.

 

The Troll went to finish him off by slamming his tusk into his head, but Algarin rolled to his left just in time. He picked grasped his sword and sliced the trolls hand clean off. The troll roared and dropped the tusk onto the dirt. Blood spewed everywhere, Algarin tossed his sword away and dived for the tusk.

 

Once he had it in his grasp he charged at the trolls stomach, he impaled the beast and watched it gasp. It collapsed on top of him nearly crushing every bone inside his body. He managed to crawl out and live to tell the rest of the story to his wife whoms name was Jill. 

 

They were married for 32 years until Algarin caught the plague, he told his wife to flee the area she was already 8 months pregnant. She couldn't stay with him or her and the baby would die. She fled Algarin to die alone and painfully. She lived on the streets and even had to endure the pain of pushing it out herself. 

She stayed on the streets alone and cold for two weeks living off stale bread and two minas a day from rich fellow. 

 

She managed to get herself a job as an inn keeper, she kept her baby inside room 15 all the time and locked the door. It was only after 2 months she named the baby Algreth.

She babied it until it was 10 years old she was over protective over it not letting it wander out into forests or even letting him out of her sight. 

 

She gave it a special present when he had his 13th Birthday although Algreth didn't quite understand why she gave it to him he liked it anyway. It was the tusk Algarin used to kill the mighty troll.

 

The money from the inn was doing well and Jill eventually made enough minas to move to a real home. It was the first time in her life she had lived in a town. 

Most of the people who lived there were Forest Dwarves and Wood Elves and you might see a few humans walking around too.

 

When Algreth reached the age of 22 he met Heather, which soon became the mother of Arath. Arath was born a strong baby he learned to shoot a bow at the age of six, he shot his first deer when he was 8 years old when we was out hunting with his father in the forest. 

 

They lived in the same town as Jill, whom they took care of everyday bringing her fresh meat and eggs for food. When Arath was 19 he went to join the soldiers in Oren. His father was very proud as he was the first in the family to go and get a real man's job. 

 

He lined up with the other recruits and waited for orders. He learned to march properly and by the time he was 20 he was trained with a sword. He knew the weak points of his enemy and how to win a battle. He was told never to give information even if you are tortured. Arath wore his armour proud he moved to Oren and set up home there his family was upset but Arath promised to keep in touch which he broke weeks later.

 

He sent one letter of how he was getting on and never sent one back. After three years of living there he got a letter from his father there was a note on the back reading: IMPORTANT! When Arath opened the letter this is what it read:

 

Dear Son

 

 

I know we haven't spoke in a long time, but you have to come back to your home your grandmother is very sick. She was shot in the thigh with a poisonous arrow which has infected her blood stream. We were robbed two weeks ago and I tried to defend against the three thieves. One of them pulled back an arrow and fired I dodged it but it hit her thigh.

 

We have tried taking her to a doctor but there is nothing they can do, please come back and say your goodbyes.

Arath refused to return scared that he will lose his job, a few months later he got a letter explaining that she had died.

 

When Arath was 42 he met his wife, he retired from his job and was given gifts: Gold, Minas, Silver etc they had a beautiful young baby boy, Arath was dreading it would be a girl as it would then break the family of all children being born a boy.

 

He named it Aragorn. Aragorn followed his dads work and worked in the military he didn't want to fight or be a knight so they gave him the job of being a messenger.

Aragorn had to ride a horse from kingdom to kingdom delivering different letters.

 

He was often ambushed by goblins, uruks but always managed to outrun them.

This is what he carries on doing today he is 21 years old.

Aragorn had straight long black hair, he has thin eyebrows with Hazel eyes. His skin is tanned and his black beard reaches down to his neck, he is trained with a sword but perfers not to use one.

 

His Writing skills are excellent and he can be very funny when he's drunk.

 

 

 

LifeStyle

 

 

 

 

Pros: He is very intelligent and wise.

 

Cons: Not the best fighter, his quite unlucky and he is normally lonely because his grumpy face can put people off talking to him.

Can use a long sword but will usually miss the attack.

 

Can use a shield okay but still the impact of a weapon going into it may have a chance of sending him onto his feet.

 

Can use a bow fairly well, his shots are usually on target.

 

 

Hand to hand combat is his weak point if he were in some sort of bar fight he would attempt to grab the man instead of throwing punches.

 

 

He carries a long sword as well as a shield and sometimes a bow instead of the shield.
