What is roleplaying?: To portray, live and react in the mind of a fictional character as if, for all intents and purposes, you are that character.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming, simply put, means to portray your character with knowledge there is no way he or she could possibly know, such as wars lands away.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is to dominate a RP situation without giving other character involved a chance to react

Character’s race: Wood Elf

Character’s age: 53

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

 Born near the end of the Oren-Haelun'or War, Calusi was born to two war torn wood elves. Durail, a High Elf, had recently returned from battle only to find that his wife, Henna (a Wood Elf who had been a refugee since the start of the war), was coming to term with a child. Though the two elves were extremely happy about their child, it made the long, perilous journey back to the forests Henna's people called home even more laborious. As the couple entered into the lush undergrowth, they were seized upon by a small group of Human raiders, forced to murder and raid to survive. Durail used his arcane magic to provide a barrier between his wife and the attackers, as Henna shouted helplessly from the carriage for someone, anyone to help. Suddenly, seemingly from no where, arrows began to rain from the overgrowth, dropping the raiders like flies. But to no avail, as Durail laid headless on the ground. As Henna began to wail in loss, her water broke, and that is how a peace loving wood elf, was born in blood. 

 

As young Calusi grew, he quickly proved to be a extremely curious child, often time finding himself in sticky situations for being somewhere he shouldn't. Despite his trouble-making, he was very caring to those around him, and though many offered Henna help in disciplining Calusi, she allowed him to explore for his own talents, always encouraging him. Henna pushed Calusi to reach the peak of his ability, and so he grew up looking to the top, to become a Archdruid of the order. And so, at the young age of 30, Calusi left for the Fiandria Grove. Over the years of study, he flourished in some areas while falling far short in others. As passionate as Calusi was for nature and the world around him, he deplored spending his days inside studying tome after tome. As Calusi began to feel even more disheartened, disaster struck. A courier appeared with grave news, Henna had died from the pox. In his grief, Calusi left the order, never to return. Though he had abandoned his hope of becoming druid, he wished for nothing more to bring balance, not only to nature, but the the forces of good and evil.

 

At this time, Calusi lives in his own modest house, not more than a days journey from Cerulin, where he goes to peddle his wears. He eeks out his simple living, dabbling in whatever hobby he feels like at the time. But rarely, upon occasion, he will leave his hermit lifestyle and stride into the world, Bow in hand, to stop any who wish to bring harm to the other peaceful people of Athera.

 

 

Personality Traits: Slightly mistrusting, though Polite and welcoming on the exterior. 

Ambitions: To make a difference in the world and lives around him.

Strengths/Talents: Tracking, Singing, Fletching and Archery

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Extreme Claustrophobia and a distinct fear of fire. Unable to do more than the most basic of magic
